That's really sad..though at 72 and with his lifestyle he had a pretty good innings I guess! He was one of those people that came across as a real character though.

Oh my, thats such a shame.
It won't be the same in the third movie without him, he was just great in that part,I wonder who'll do the next one?

72 really isn't very old these days. This is so sad, I loved Richard Harris in "A Man Called Horse".

Richard Harris was a great actor and will be sadly missed. Could anyone else have made Camelot worth watchin twice? He came across as the type of bloke you'd have liked to know.

It seems he was so ill during the shooting of HP2 that his stand-in was used quite often. Our Julie is devestated as Harry Potter is 'her world' at the moment and ,at 13, she feels Dumbledor has died.

Richard, you'll be missed but, through your many and varied films, never forgotten.
