what does "third rotation" mean? I understand main vs late dining and the rotation between the 3 dining rooms - you either get "PLAP LAP", "LAP LAPL" or "AP LAP LA" but what does
third rotation mean? Is this something the servers need to know and not us?

Third rotation would be the 3rd of the 3 rotations. I explained it a little further on the other post.

your other post is what got me wondering - is 3rd rotation something the cruisers need to know? It can be confusing enough just knowing Aplap, Laplap and Plaplap

I don't think they really need to know that but a couple in line behind us had S1 on their cards and were upset because they had requested late seating and thought the S1 stood for seating 1(first seating) instead of second seating 1st rotation.

I am also confused about 1st, 2nd, 3rd rotation....

Is 1st rotation APL, 2nd rotation LAP, 3rd rotation PLA??

Anyone know???

Does anyone know if a parties dining rotation is "luck of the draw" or if DCL determines based on the group. For example, on a 4 night cruise, would a family cruising with younger children get A or P as the double vs. a couple without children getting T as the double? Just curious if this is looked at when they are determining table assignments.
