Hi, all! Looking at a quick weekend stay at the Vistana Resort (near DTD) and was wondering what the difference is between a full kitchen and kitchenette. Is this a nice resort? Thanks!

Hi, all! Looking at a quick weekend stay at the Vistana Resort (near DTD) and was wondering what the difference is between a full kitchen and kitchenette. Is this a nice resort? Thanks!

The size is pretty much the only difference. From the Starwood site:

Well-equipped kitchenette includes range/oven, microwave/hood combination, refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, blender and dinnerware

The one thing I will vouch for is that there is almost NO counter space - you will need to do any meal prep on the dining table. And the appliances are apartment sized rather than full sized, so don't count on doing a turkey dinner with fixin's. For quick breakfasts, assembling park lunches, or light dinners it is ideal.

And yes, the Vistana Resort is an excellent location, with really well appointed clean and modern units and with lots of amenities.

Enjoy!

Thanks so much, Bankr63! I'm able to get a good rate and double starwoods points, so we may go with it. It is either this or a value resort.
