beans???? I am helping with some crafts for my DD's Kindergarten Class and they are doing a project where you use spray painted dried beans and glue them to a toilet paper roll to make a braclet.

I am hoping the paint will stick to those little beans. Anyone know???

Oh...I thought you were going to ask if you could spray paint a dog...I was going to give you a huge YES YOU CAN and direct you to Von....:)

But yes you can spray paint the little beans....J.C. did that in Vacation Bible School this year. They made little decorative jars with spray painted beans, they were really cute. Good luck.

LOL I thought dog too...DD has spray painted beans. They were gold, part of a star during christmas last year. As far as I remember they stayed painted just fine. In fact I think I have it in with the christmas stuff....

They were going to spray paint a couch on Trading Spaces recently, why not beans?

Actually when I was posting this question, I really thought I should give a shout out to Wagamama for some advice.

I guess I am going to work on them tonight, so hoping the paint at least sticks until after next Friday.

Try gently buffing each bean with a fine-grained sandpaper to ensure the best adherence of paint to bean. :p
