With Kong and Hannah Barberra rides both gone, does anyone know when they will be replaced with something else? We will be going in June/July and wonder if anything else will be operational by then.

No replacement has been announced for Kong, but it is planned. An announcement should be sometime early next year I think. Several rumors are floating around.
Hitchcock will be replaced by Shrek 3-D
Hanna Barbara will be replaced by Jimmy Neutron.
I'm not sure of the time table for these two. Anyone else know?

Shrek and Jimmy are scheduled for April 2003 I believe... as for Kong's replacement, not until 2004.

Well that is cool. We are going down in a week so we will miss those attractions that are closed, but maybe we can see a soft-opening on those two new attractions when we go back in March. :smooth:

OMG this is the first I've heard of the replacements. USF is in need of some updating, but I don't think Shrek and Jimmy Neutron are going to entice me back.

Shrek is rumored to top Terminator on WOW factor based on some of the hints dropped about the attraction I can't wait for it. Then of course there is the still to be announced Kong replacement that is supposed to be as technologically advanced as Spiderman. Jimmy seems like a wash to me Replacing Hanna with the same basic thing unless they really update it. Either way its two super new attractions and an “updated one”. Sounds pretty good to me.

Don't think the ride will be similar to Spider-Man when they say it is going to be as technologically advanced. Don't be looking for any 3-D! ;)
