Want to share your ADR scores? I do! We are a party of 11, going DxDP the week after Easter. Which means I was freaking out for what seems like forever. Did I mention we also have a birthday Princess who has her heart set on CRT for her birthday dinner?

I got up at 3:30am mountain time (5:30am EST) to be ready to rock when the online ressies opened up :surfweb: Was super lucky - or just the only one awake that early - and got everything we wanted

14th - Raglan Road (dinner)

15th - Liberty Tree Tavern (lunch)
California Grill (dinner)

16th - Chefs de France (lunch)
Tutto Italia (dinner)

17th - Luau dinner show (cat. 2)

18th - Tusker House (bfast)
Yak & Yeti (dinner)

19th - Grand Floridian Cafe (lunch)
Cinderella's Royal Table (dinner)

20th - Sci-Fi (lunch)
'Ohanas (dinner)

21st - Hoop Dee Doo dinner show (cat. 2)

22nd - 1900 Park Fare (bfast)
Le Cellier (dinner)

23rd - Brown Derby Fantasmic! package

I did have to call for the F! show package since it had not loaded yet. The 2 dinner show days we are not going to any park - I might book something at DTD or go to my fave Earl of Sandwich :goodvibes We are not breakfast people which is why there are so many lunches. And we do not care about spending tons of time in the restaurants since DH & I were CMs and the rest of the family visited us at least once a year the 13+ years we were there.

Now all I need is a Wishes dessert party and we are all set :wizard:

So - whatcha get? popcorn::

Nov 7th - Les Chef de France (dinner) - DD loves French food

Nice! I love Teppan Edo but was out-voted, CP I have only been to their bfast and really enjoyed it but again me against a crowd  We did Chefs for dinner before and loved it! This time we are trying lunch to see if we can catch a glimpse of Remy.

I also wanted to do a nice signature dinner so we chose Calif Grill - DH loves sushi. I was going to try to squeeze in Artist Point (which was our fave when we were CM) but with so many ppl and the transportation situation not being the best (bus to park to resort and back again) I did not want to risk it. We also did MM for the F! package last time and had a really good time, figure we would splurge since we are going DxDP this time.

I tried to get tutti italia for April 21, but no times were available online. Did you call in for it?Hi, sorry I did not respond earlier - we were at Disneyland!

I got Tutto online BUT I know they are supposed to be down for rehab for a few weeks right before we get there. Not sure what is happening there but since it let me make an ADR I took it - now lets hope the ADRs are good if some major changes come to the restaurant :upsidedow

Love that I'm seeing others who have booked ADRs for two-three meals per day!!! I was thinking we were overbooked in terms of eating!!! :rotfl:

I don't think you booked too much ;) Especially with having the DxDP we have to get a couple of TS's a day! I know a lot of ppl say that it is too much time taken away from the parks or that it is too much food but for us this works. DH & I worked at WDW for many years and everyone else in the party has been several times - we like to take it easy (and out of the humidity) while we are there.

Want to share your ADR scores? I do! We are a party of 11, going DxDP the week after Easter. 19th - Grand Floridian Cafe (lunch)
Cinderella's Royal Table (dinner)

23rd - Brown Derby Fantasmic! package

So - whatcha get? popcorn::

When you booked for CRT and Fantasmic, did they make you break up your party? We have nine of us going next week and when I made reservations for CRT and Fantasmic Mama Melrose Package, I actually had to make two different reservations at the same time to cover our entier party. I am hoping that we won't have to sit at opposite ends of the restaurants.:confused3

Here is our lineup:
November 10th- Play n Dine (Breakfast)
Mama Melrose Fantasmic Package under two reservations (Lunch)

November 11th- Ohana(Breakfast)
Akershus (Dinner birthday celebration DD turns 5 on 11-11-11)

November 12th- Cinderella Royal Table under two reservations (Lunch)
The Wave (Dinner)

November 13th- Tusker House (Breakfast)
Ohana (Dinner)

November 14th- Chef Mickey (breakfast)
GF Cafe (Lunch)

November 15th- 1900 Park Fare (breakfast)

November 16th - Chefs de France or The Plaza (lunch)

Did you have to use your credit card more often to book with the new booking policy? How did that go?

I did just one ADR for the whole party for both CRT and Brown Derby F! package but it did say that we might be at 2 separate tables. I think some restaurants don't have tables that fit large parties so with those I did have to book 2 ADRs - Le Cellier, Yak & Yeti and Tutto Italia. Did you make the ADRs using the same last name? This would give the CMs a heads up of who is with who and they will put you close together. If you did not you could give them a call a few days before your ADR to tell them you are one big party and would like to be close to each other.

I made my ADRs before the new cc policy went into effect so the only ones I had to give my cc info were the dinner shows, F! and CRT.

Yes, I used the same last name but had to use my first name and my husband's first name so the reservations would not get cancelled by Disney thinking it was a mistake. I am hoping when we show up early, they can put us together. Lucky you for gettting CRT under one reservation. I remember how tight it is up in the castle so I was thinking they don't have large enough tables for nine:confused3

Pretty much everywhere (except V&A) is kid friendly but for a more adult restaurant I would try to get into California Grill and watch the firewrks from their balcony. Or maybe Artist's Point - love that restaurant!

Good thing we are not going to the same parks on the same days or we would take them over! I don't think the times are very late although by the end of the dinner the little ones might need strollers ;) MIL requested I make our dinners around 6:30 or I would have tried for a little later - we are night owls :upsidedow

Love that I'm seeing others who have booked ADRs for two-three meals per day!!! I was thinking we were overbooked in terms of eating!!! :rotfl:

You are definitely not alone....when we do DDP (we always get the DxDP) we like to maximize our credits as much as we can. Plus since we go at least twice a year, we are at a more slower pace and enjoy sitting down eating our meals and not rushing from ride to ride to ride.

With that said, our ADRs for 1/22-1/28....we are doing a split stay staying at BCV for 3 nights on the DxDP and then switching over to CBR which we are not on the DDP. The 3 nights that we are at BCV my ILs will be with us.

1/22 - 5:30pm dinner at CRT (this is our arrival night)
1/23 - 8am breakfast at Akershus, 12:50 lunch at Le Cellier, 6:10pm dinner at Teppan Edo (this is just for DH, DD10, DD8, and I) the ILs don't like Japanese food so they are going to be dining at Nine Dragons at 5:30pm
1/24 - 8:05am Crystal Palace, 7:25pm California Grill
1/25 - 7:30am Cape May Cafe Breakfast
1/26 - 3:40pm Afternoon Tea at the GF (just my DDs and I, DH is going to find something else to do instead)
1/27 - 8:05pm Coral Reef

My DDs and I love going to the Afternoon Tea. The package that we get have tea sandwiches, pastries, and scones with jam . My DD8 gets the Mrs. Potts tea which serves ham and cheese sandwiches and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, pastries, and her choice of beverage which includes chocolate milk, soft drink, milk, hot chocolate, and juice. We have made a tradition that both DDs and I go to the tea while DH finds something else to do for lunch :goodvibes.

We will be there Jan 21-27 and taking advantage of free dining..We have 2 adults, 1 child (but counts as a Disney DDP adult) and 1 toddler. We booked all but one TS as my hubby doesn't to be tied down to a ADR every day. So on our last day the powers that be will pick our TS for us, LOL. We are going the slowest week of the year so hopefully it wont be too hard to eat somewhere with TS on Thursday.

Sunday 1/22 Cinderella Royal Table, 6:50 (2 credits)
Monday 1/23 50's Prime Time, 4:15 (1 credit)
Tuesday 1/24 Akerhaus Princess Dinner 6:35 (1 credit)

This is what we have right now, but it looks like our flight home is going to be too early to make our HBD lunch, so I think we're going to move HBD to Monday night, and move the Turf Club to a late dinner on Thursday and get rid of Captain's Grille. Will know tonight once we book our flights. (Free dining upgraded to DxDP - we got in during the very small three week window when FD was available on the 31st (it moved back to the 29th after we added on our FD)

(And before anyone asks, the duplicate meal times are times when the teenagers are eating on their own.)

Lety me know how it turns out :goodvibes I was checking out what we should order for my niece's 11th bday, leaning towards the Mickey head cake. It looks cute, feeds 12 (there will be 11 of us) and from reviews I've read it is yummy :thumbsup2 Thought about the slipper but have not read if it is any good - I've only seen pics of it :confused3

We bought a chocolate cake with the princesses on it for our dinner at Akershaus. I was so upset with them that I did not even try the cake....first they forgot to bring her cake out and served us our dessert, then when they finally brought out the cake they refused to sing Happy Birthday to my daughter on her actual birthday and they did not bring us anything to serve the cake with. I discussed this with the manager and she told me it was illegal to sing Happy Birthday. I was shocked!!! If I can find a contact, I would love to write to Disney about this.

Then the next day, we ate in the castle and had the glass slipper. My daughter actually cried she was so excited. Since they already serve dessert with the meal, the glass slipper was just enough. DD ate the whole slipper and shared the pillow and fruit with the rest of our group. WE actually took the fruit to go and DS ate it that afternoon. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the glass slipper. They did have our group sit at seperate tables but we had the same server so it worked out.

Restaurants cannot sing Happy Birthday because it is still under copywright by the people who wrote it. That's why every restaurant has some cheesy birthday song they sing instead of happy birthday. So, for that part, that's true.

I don't know what the policies are for serving utensils for Disney cakes, so I can't speak to that.

Funny that at every other restaurant that we ate at on site, they sang Happy Birthday to DD including at CRT. I am not even talking about serving utensils but they did not give us plates or forks, we got a cake and a card.

We are arriving 12/30 and staying through 1/5 at AKL. Here are the reservations we have so far:

12/30 dinner: Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show (a dinner show always puts me in a Disney frame of mind)

New Year's Eve: AK in the morning w/ breakfast at Tusker House. Spending the rest of new year's eve at Epcot, with dinner at Bistro de Paris.

New Year's Day: After sleeping in, heading to DHS...lunch at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater, back to the resort for dinner at Jiko before heading to MK for extra magic hours!

1/2: Starting the day at Boma for breakfast and ending it at Narcoossee's for a romantic dinner, but no idea what we're doing in between. :)

1/3: Wherever they take us while we're on the Backstage Magic Tour all day. Doing La Nouba late and planning on having dinner somewhere nearby, maybe Raglan Road.

No plans yet for 1/4 or 1/5.

Grand Floridian :thumbsup2 I went to the WDW site and it has a nice description of it. It is a bit expensive (I could not find the price so I just went on the adr page and looked it up there) so I think we will stick with the glass slipper at CRT. We might do the Wishes party as well so I think we are good on desserts for our trip :lmao:

Just out of curiosity, when you looked at the description of the Tea, were you looking at the My Pretty Princess Tea Party? I ask because that IS very expense, however the Garden View Lounge's Afternoon Tea is not expensive at all. I get the Buckingham Palace package which is $23 that includes finger sandwiches, choice of tea, scones and jam, and pastries or strawberries and whip cream if you prefer that instead....while my DD8 gets the Mrs. Pott's Tea that includes ham and cheese sandwiches AND Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches, plus pastries or the strawberries and whip cream, this costs $12. I'm not trying to persuade you in any way, I just didn't want you to get confused by the two (both the Afternoon Tea and the My Pretty Princess Tea are both held in the same place).

I have to agree, DD and I always go to Grand Floridian for the Garden View Tea Room. I do not feel it is expensive for Disney. Now if you attend the My Girl's perfectly princess tea party. That is expensive. We have only been to this one time as a special event when DD was 6. It was wonderful and an experience I would not trade for anything!! :thumbsup2

I think I'm finally done tinkering with my ADRs. Looking back at what I had at first, I have made some huge changes lol

Monday Dec 12 - Plaza Restaurant (Lunch - 13:20), CRT (Dinner - 20:30)
Tuesday Dec 13 - Biergarten (Lunch 13:50 CP Package)
Wednesday Dec 14 - Liberty Tree Tavern (Lunch - 12:55)
Thursday Dec 15 - Ohana (Dinner - 21:55)
Friday Dec 16 - Kona (Breakfast - 7:45)
Saturday Dec 17 - Grand Floridian Cafe (Breakfast - 7:30)

Planning to be at the park for rope drop on Tues (Epcot EMH), Wed (MK Opening), Thurs (DHS for TSM), so don't have breakfast there. Would switch either Kona or GFC for Chef Mickey's if that ever comes up but I'm not keeping my hopes up.

You can't go wrong with the Chocolate Glass Slipper. I can't wait to her our DN loves it in April. I actually had a hard time finding someone who could book that for me two weeks before our trip. Eventually I had to be transfered to the actual restaurant and they booked it for me. I thought dining would be able to handle it but maybe I had someone new on the phone.

Ugh....Im almost embarrased by my reservations.....:rolleyes1

We have a few...we are a DxDP family - my boys 12 & 10 refuse to eat off a kids menu and are actually good eaters and love trying new food. Then there is my DH who needs a "lunch break" out of the June heat and wants to sit in a/c and have someone bring him a drink...:rotfl:

We are also not rope droppers, but we'll be having breakfast either in the parks or just outside the parks when the ropes drop, so we wont miss much...(well, we WILL be rope droppers for HS - gotta get in the TSM run!!)

oh, and he wont "do" yogurt & granola for breakfast...he needs coffee and eggs and what not...so, I plan and plan and plan..and came up with the following....

We're staying at the Beach Club, so we have quite a few breakfasts in the area and we like to mainly do dinners around Epcot!!

(the 2 days we dont have a lunch listed, we are paying OOP - I have to "pay" for the 2 dinners that are 2 meals a person!!)

Well, I guess it is about time I post our March trip since I did post our November reservations. So here goes, we are going March 7-12 and hoping to avoid the majority of Spring Break crowds. Staying in a Royal Guest Room at Riverside, I hope we can handle the buses with our double stroller.

March 8th- Breakfast 1900 Park Fare
Dinner Garden Grill (last time we ate there the revolving room was not working)

March 9th- Breakfast Ohana

March 10th- Breakfast Cape May
Dinner Akershaus

March 11th- Breakfast Hollywood and Vine (Can't wait to meet Jake)
Dinner- Mama Melrose Fantasmic Package

March 12th- Breakfast Chef Mickey

As you can tell we are early riser with two small children and character meals are a must.

So glad to find this thread! I admire my spreadsheet on a weekly basis, but other than my husband no one else seems to care about my ADRs! We are going May 26-June 8, 2012. Regular DDP, party of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) for 5/26-6/2 and then party of 7 (4 adults, 3 kids) the rest of the time. We are staying DVC at Beach Club for the first week and Animal Kingdom Jambo House the second week. Our two children are young, early-risers who love character breakfasts. When my sister and BIL join us for week 2 we were told no breakfast ADRs because BIL works nights and getting up for breakfast will make him very cranky.

Just booked our flight and it looks like I can add a breakfast and/or lunch on departure day! Flight leaves at 6:30pm and we will be staying at POR - thinking we will just play in the pool and DtD.

Thinking Wolfgang Pucks for lunch - anyone been there lately? We are going deluxe and I'm afraid we might have tickets left over (even after all the dinner shows/signature), if so then we'll do a TS before leaving for the airport.

We are there June 21st through the 30th. We don’t do arrival day or departure day ADRs so that left the credits for CRT. We are character meal heavy, but my children loved meeting characters this way last trip.

Dd requested we repeat the ones from our first trip (Akershus, Chef Mickey's, Tusker House and Crystal Palace) and I did that except I switched the meals. Akershus and Crystal Palace were lunch/early dinner last time and this time they are both breakfasts. Chef Mickey's was breakfast last time and this time it will be a dinner.

I added Garden Grill because I wanted it, I heard the character interaction is great there and because my son is absolutely obsessed with Mickey Mouse. I put in Hollywood and Vine because he loves Disney Junior and I want to get into DHS early so we can possibly finish it in a half day. I have been wanting to try Ohana and I figured that would be nice for our non-park day on the 26th. After that I still had 2 credits left. There wasn't anything else I wanted to try on the 24th, so I asked dd if she would want two princess meals and she said yes. So already planning for the BBB appointment on the 24th I added CRT for dinner. And there you have it.

June 22nd: Garden Grill 5:55pm
June 23rd: Crystal Palace 8:30am
June 24th: Cinderella’s Royal Table 6:40pm (BBB 4:00)
June 25th: Akershus Royal Banquet Hall 8:30am
June 26th: Ohana 5:15pm
June 27th: Tusker House 8:30am
June 28th: Hollywood and Vine 8:15am
June 29th: Chef Mickey’s 5:50pm

1/29 O'hana - 6:50pm

1/31 Whispering Canyon Cafe 8:30 am

2/1 1900 Park Fare - 8:15 am

2/2 Crystal Palace - 10:10 am

2/2 Crystal Palace - 5:50 pm - i will likely be cancelling this. only made it so we would be in a good spot to see MSELP, however, it is not on during our stay :sad2:

2/3 Chef Mickey's - 10:30 am --- HAPPY 7TH BIRTHDAY TO MY BOYS!!! :cake: :cake:

Everything else is up in the air - all QS unless we feel like going somewhere else and can get in w/o an ADR.

What a fun thread! We are one month out from our second mother daughter trip - not that I've been counting down or anything! We're headed back to the World 2/11-2/16 staying at CBR and have free DDP!

Our ADRs are:
2/11 - later arrival, no ADR
2/12 - Sci-Fi 12:35pm
2/13 - Yak&Yeti 12:30pm
2/14 - Tokyo Dining 12pm, Cape May Cafe 6:55pm
2/15 - Les Chefs 7pm
2/16 - late departure, but no ADRs

Sci-Fi, Cape May and Les Chefs are all firsts for us, so we're very excited to try them out. Yak&Yeti and Tokyo Dining were favorites from last trip and we're equally excited to enjoy them again!

We're considering trekking to DTD on day 1 for WPE or EoS, but that depends on how long it takes ME to get us to CBR. We didn't get to DTD last trip, so we're hoping to make time for it this time around. Plus I'm pretty sure my mom will think she's died and gone to heaven if I take her Ghiradelli... :)

DH and I are going 4/21 - 4/27. We booked February 8, and today finalized (hopefully) our ADRs. I had most booked on Feb. 8 after I booked the trip. Others, I have tweaked, re-tweaked and then tweaked some more. UGH I don't know how y'all do it 180 + days out in advance. :worship: So here is what we have:

4/21: Earl of Sandwich, if we get to DTD early, otherwise Ghiradelli ice cream for lunch :rotfl:
Dinner: Fulton's Crab House

4/22: Kona - breakfast
50s Prime Time Cafe - dinner

4/23: Crystal Palace - breakfast
Liberty Tree Tavern - late lunch
Hoop Dee Doo Revue

4/24: Le Cellier - lunch
Via Napoli - dinner

4/25: 1900 Park Fare - breakfast
House of Blues - dinner

4/26: Cape May - breakfast
Captain's Grille - dinner

4/27: Pepper Market - breakfast --- 12:55 pm flight, so have to be ready for ME 3 hours before I guess. So, just breakfast at the hotel.

We still have remaining credits (on DxDP) so those will be used for lunches hopefully whichever park we're at on a certain day. Had absolutely NO problems getting times and/or places. I'm hoping that's a good sign :goodvibes

We'll be in the World from 09/28 - 10/04 and then we board the Disney Dream for 3 nights! :thumbsup2 :woohoo:

We will be DH, myself, DD (4), DN (11), DN (14), DM (67), DS (40). My sister will be leaving to come back home early, but the rest of us stay on and then take a cruise (she isn't fond of cruising anyway).

We are DxDp and I will probably still tweak some of these. We are trying a relaxed vacation this time.. pool days between park days. We aren't doing AK this time.. just MK, HS and Epcot. The pool/relax days will let us go back to parks where we feel we missed something.

Our ADR's:

09/28

- Portobello

09/29

- Crystal Palace

- Light lunch

- Narcoossees (not sold on this yet, still debating Cali Grill)

09/30

- Kona Cafe

- Pepper Market

- Flying Fish

10/01

- Akershus

- Epcot F&W

- Biergarten

10/02

- Kona Cafe

- Beaches and Cream

- O'hana (might change this)

10/03

- Cape May Cafe

- 50's PTC

- Flying Fish

10/04

- Kona Cafe

Find breakfasts are the easiest to digest in the heat. And as you can see our gang love character experiences. Loved sharing and loved seeing all of yours. Roll on 12 days....
