I am trying to plan my Hollywood Studios day and we are really trying to avoid 2 credit meals when possible...

Yes, the Brown Derby is 2 credits for lunch and dinner. It's considered a Signature restaurant.

Here's a breakdown of 2011 restaurants and types of credits charged.

I don't think so. There are too many two credit Signature restaurants that are better that I'd rather use those credits on (Artist Point, California Grill, Flying Fish, Citricos, or Yachtsman). It's one of those that I'll pay OOP for though if I'm in the mood for the cobb salad and a dessert.

We did the Brown Derby for lunch and it was NOT worth the 2TS. We had deluxe DDP and were having a hard time using all our TS credits, so we did the Brown Derby. It was disappointing. But I agree with above poster who said you could pay OOP there for lunch.

It's the same menu and the same prices for lunch and dinner, so you're not "paying less" for lunch anyway.
