Sorry about the other post, I don't know what happened to it, I must have accidentally hit my delete button or something--maybe the moderator could just delete it.

Anyway, DH is wondering if he needs to list me as an additional driver when we pick up our rental car, or are spouses automatically covered?
Thanks!!!:Pinkbounc

When we used Enterprise, they asked us about additional drivers and we had to list me. I'd be sure and ask them if they don't mention it to you.

You need to list additional drivers and most of the time pay for them.

Additional drivers are charged an additional fee in most cases. If you are a member of National's Emerald Aisle though, they do not charge you a fee for your spouse to be listed as an additional driver. :):D:)

I don't think you deleted it.. I think they were having 'technical difficulties' here today. There were a few posts that I made this afternoon which have mysteriously disappeared....

If you have a gold credit card that includes CDW, read the fine print. My automobile rental coverage stated that additional drivers WERE included whether or not they are listed on the rental contract. I asked my father (a claims adjuster for over 40 years) if it meant what it sounded like and he said yes. Therefore, we didn't list an additional driver. Check your gold card coverage. you may have the same thing.
