Hello!!!

Sign up will be SEPTEMBER 29th @ 9am with a due date of December 15th!

Thought we could use the following sizes… 3 ½”
3 ½” is the size of the Sizzix Dolls

Max of 30 groups total for this swap ( I will open new spots if there is a huge request for them.. we may have to merge some groups together so I may need suggestions to do it right).

Requirements:
3 1/2" (I use 3 1/2" and they work great!!!)



1. Choose your group. I will open additional groups if the initial one fills. (If group A fills, I will open group 1A with the same choices; max. 30 groups total). If you have a request for a spot in a group that hasn’t opened yet, please list it. I will fill the groups in the order you post. Please limit yourself to 2 groups if you haven't swapped with me before.

2. PM me with your DIS name, name, home address, email, and phone number - these will only be used to follow up if I have not heard from you.

3. Post your status on the progress thread every 2 weeks. Check in dates will be listed.

4. Packing Instructions: use a Ziploc and put all the dolls for that group into that bag (so Group 1 will have 5 dolls in that Ziploc bag). Please label on the outside of each bag. Include your name, DISname and group number. Include your return postage, please. If you want delivery confirmation, don't forget to send in the extra money for that as well as a completed slip. Please write your DISname on the outside of your package.

Do not individually address the bags -- it is easier to swap out without names on the bags.

5. Mailing:
* You may send to me, by any method you choose unless you are mailing after November 10th. Then, you must mail Priority WITH Delivery Confirmation.
* I prefer to send to you using flat rate boxes/envelopes from the USPS. Please include enough postage in your package for return shipping. The rates are: Envelope or Small Box (9”x6”x2”) - $5.20, Medium/Standard box – $10.95,
* You do NOT have to include a return mailer or DC ticket as I prefer to use click and ship it from the house to pre-pay for everything so I can just drop it off at the PO when I’m out.
* DO NOT include click-it/ship-it postage. I will not be able to use it since it is only good on the day it was printed, and from the location it was printed.

6. PM me if you have problems and need to drop out or if an emergency happens (we all know things happen beyond our control sometimes), let me know so we can make arrangements for an angel or other help if needed.

I'm headed out to school in 10... sorry I was not available last night.. it was senior night for soccer... while my son isn't a senior.. my DH and my kids have played with the seniors since they were 4!!! Teary night as all but 1 of the boys had been on a team with my DD growing up and playing on the Varsity team with my DS15 now..
Plus DD was at conference.. Didn't run as coach decided she really needed to get healthy..even though DD has been asking for 2 races to sit out and get healthy.. ;( Plus we found out last night that sectionals start on Monday not Thursday... so some how we are going to have to celebrate dS10's -11th birthday at the soccer fields... MAN!!!

Julia and I won't get to these until at least next week. She has a five day weekend next weekend, but Josh will be home for part of it. I looked into rooms in Vt and it is out of my price range to visit him for 3 days like I had planned, so he is coming home instead. Going to try and plan to spend some time with him and his girlfriend. Maybe spend a day on the Cape if the weather cooperates.

How do you all feel about extending the deadline to 12/15.

I realize life has gotten in the way for many of us with family events (scheduled and unscheduled) and I know there are numerous other swaps due that were signed up for long before the paper doll swap (park/land, character swap).

I know many of you are wanting and I do encourage this and understand this.. combine shipping....(especially with the holidays fast approaching~ something like 57 days til Christmas)....

Just need to know what everyone thinks by Monday and will update the OP Monday morning..

Obviously I would love an extension. I was toying with the idea of just dropping out, I know it's really late for that but I'm just overwhelmed with family stuff. It would kill me to drop out because I've been waiting for this swap for forever and I hate bailing out!

That might work- I have been trying different capital H's that have thin lettering to see if I could find something. I would have to look and see what I have or could find that would match everything else I have. I also haven't fully determined if I am going to do a girl in a polka outfit or a boy in lederhousen (sp is awful). I have been experimenting with styles to see what I like best and then figure I will go with that.

I have checked my personal schedule with the due date of this swap. I must ask that the due date be met as my DS15 plays JV basketball and can be called up the Varsity team any time the coach sees fit... So, the DECEMBER 15th deadline is a must. If you feel for any reason you can NOT make that deadline then please let me know immediately so that we can find an angel.

I hate to be snippy about the deadline but we are all busy with the holidays and my goal is to get this swap back out to you so that you can scrap with these items if you want to during the holidays.

It was a nice surprise to come home to considering my van broke down as we left my sister's for the Thanksgiving dinner... :( I do have my van back after a minimal prepare...but I had discussions with my van on the way home that she really need to behave from her forward! I was a little bossy when I told them what to do in test driving my van after the repair...
