View Full Version : ADRs vs EMH – how to plan?

So we can make ADRs 180 days (roughly 6 months) before our date of arrival. But they seem to publish the EMH schedule 3-4 months ahead. So our planned pre-park-opening breakfast at (for example) Crystal Palace might lose a lot of it’s “Woot!” factor* if it turns out that MK has a morning EMH that day. If I had known that day was going to be an early EMH, I might have planned for a rope drop/commando morning, followed by a lateish CRT lunch and then naps & resort-lounging in the afternoon and evening.

How do people factor in EMH when making super-advanced ADRs? :confused3

*As in “Woot! The park is so empty! We can take lovely pictures of us and the castle with no one around!”

Disney publishes the EMHs at the same time as the park hours, around 6 months ahead of time.

Sometimes they add extra EMHs closer to the dates, if bookings warrant it.
If you are going at a peak time (like Christmas week / Easter week), expect EMHs at MK and AK every day - 7 and 8 AM even if they are not on the calendar yet.

But other than those type of adds - the EMH hours are published with the park hours.
