We are doing our first trip in 7 years. I have tickets to Universal that we did not use from back then. Is there a way to check whether or not they are still valid? It would be a huge savings if I didn't have to buy them for our trip in November.
Thanks

If you didn't activate them when you were at US/IOA last time, then they should be good. The beauty about buying Universal tickets is that they are always accepted, even if you purchased them years ago.

The thing is, that's money you definitely saved. Go ahead and use them this November.

That is the tricky part there were 2 day 2 park hoppers we only used one day. We thought we remembered them not expiring at the time which is why we held on to them but it was a long time ago and we are not sure I tried calling Universal they told me I had to wait and check at the gate. Hoping for advice from everyone here.

If you used at least one day, then it's definitely expired. If you have tickets you bought online that you didn't use/activate at the park, then those are valid.

But it depends. Ask macraven or MetroWest for details.

They could be non-expiring. You'll have to wait until you get there to check. The non-expiry option ended in 2007.

You used to be able to scan and fax the back of your tickets to Guest Services and they could tell you. But they don't do that anymore. The only way to tell is to bring them with you and have them scan the tickets in person.

We bought them November 2004 so if the non-expiry thing was in 2007 then they should still be valid! Thank you so much for your help. I hope they are and will just have to wait to try at the gate.

You might want to buy an extra ticket, just in case. If your 2004 ticket is fine, you can save the extra one for a future trip.

Almost all the tickets in 2004 were non-expiring unless you purchased a timeshare ticket, a 2 days/get 3rd day free, or a Bonus ticket (which was a 5 day or 7 day ticket). Since yours is just a 2 day ticket, you should be fine.

There are 7 of us going and I have 5 tickets from 2004. I think I will just buy the 2 I need before I go and fingers crossed they are still valid. It is just too expensive for me to buy them just in case. Not sure when our next trip will be.
