Long time no post...

We first visited WDW in Easter 2000, then again Easter this year. Both occasions we went package deal...

We want to go back next year, but can't afford a package deal.

How can we achieve a return trip next year (2 weeks, 2 adults and 2 teenage daughters)?

Guess I am looking for recommendations for flights, accommodation, and car hire... and how do you co-ordinate all of these if booking them separately?

Appreciate any advice...

Hi Mike,

As a general "rule of thumb" I'd say get you flights books first and the rest can come later - IMHO.

We just used Bon Voyage to book flights for Aug 2003 with them. The site is down for a re-hab at the moment, but I'll try and dig out the phone number.

Hi Mike,
Never let it be said that I turned down a challenge, so here is my penny'sworth.
We have booked for Easter 2003. We did it the wrong way round really and booked the hotel first. I did not even realise it was Easter, just chose A Friday Mid April, How daft is that!! We booked the hotel via Price Line and got the hotel room for £ 50 per night sleeps 4. Hilton in Disney Village. We then had difficulty with the flights as it was Good Friday we needed to fly out on.
We found the cheapest flights we could get was £500 with American Airways booked via Trailfinders.
owever I still think for Easter that we have done quite well.

Hope this helps and good luck!!

Well, seeing as Bonzo is dragging his feet with the telephone number for Bon Voyage here it is ... 02380 248248 !! :)

Their website is: Bon Voyage (http://www.bon-voyage.co.uk/YourBestWayUSA/index.asp?target=Brochure/brochure.asp?CID=0905000000&fr=0900000000)

They are based here in Southampton and can come up with some really good deals - they book everything separately for you.

Also worth trying are: Travelcity Direct (http://www.travelcity.co.uk/) who I've used to book my flights for May. I've booked part of my accommodation with them too, the rest I've done through Dreams Unlimited (click on a link to them from the Dis)

and: Travelshop Online (http://www.travelshoponline.co.uk/)

Have fun!! I'm sure you'll find some good deals if you're prepared to shop around.

As a matter of interest I've used Jetlife in the past, a smaller package holiday brochure, and they came up with a far cheaper deal than an identical holiday in the Virgin brochure. Similarly Virgin Travelstore knock 5% off the Virgin brochure price. Sorry, don't have their two sites to hand.

HTH
