Hellooo and welcome to my first ever trip report (apart from a little pre trippy)

We went from the 6th of Sep till the 20th and fab time, really, really fab. We've been once before in November 2009 and it was time for a Disney fix, I turned 21 this year and the day after my birthday I had my driving test. I told myself if I passed I would book a holiday as a birthday/passing driving test present to myself. And I passed!! :cool1: (Second attempt ;)) So the very same day I booked  Which wasn't hard because I had been researching for a loooong time. Not before I ran it passed the bf of course ;)(not that he had much choice )

Here are the castmembers:
This is me:

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/th_HolidayPix371.jpg (http://s1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/?action=view&current=HolidayPix371.jpg)

21 years old, a uni student and part time worker. I spend a shameful amount of time on the Dis looking at TR's and dining reviews. I love my food, movies, and my dogs. I've got a Shihtzu called Belle, she is still a puppy and totally crazy with an addiction to digestive biscuits
In fact we've just had tea and biscuits and she's been literally beating me up for them (3 a night! It's like a drug habit).

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/th_Stuff028.jpg (http://s1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/?action=view&current=Stuff028.jpg)

Altogether we have four dogs, Daniel has a husky named Oscar and Daniels Mum has two borders Harry and Jake. (Didn't want to miss them out)

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/th_DanielsBlackBerry014.jpg (http://s1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/?action=view&current=DanielsBlackBerry014.jpg)

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/th_DanielsBlackBerry036.jpg (http://s1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/?action=view&current=DanielsBlackBerry036.jpg)

This is Daniel:

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/th_HolidayPix372.jpg (http://s1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/?action=view&current=HolidayPix372.jpg)

22 years old. He loves the usual boy stuff, computer games ect. A big geek. He bought a wand on this trip :rolleyes1 Sometimes I think he reverts :rotfl:

We stayed at the Sheraton Vistana Resort lbv, hired a car, and a couple of weeks before bought 14 day parkhoppers to Disney, Universal, and Seaword through our tour operator Virgin. These came with free early entry into Harry Potter  (Which was so worth it btw)

Now I'm a Disney girl at heart but I love Harry Potter, I've read all the books a few times and seen all the films more then once (more like 10 times each :rotfl:) So we had to go to Universal for that, and also the DBF who could never go to Orlando and not go to Universal and SeaWorld. We also ended up spontaneously going to MNSSHP!! I did mention this was on to DBF before we went but thought that he might find it too kid orientated, in the end he saw a poster for it and insisted that we go  We also went to the Kennedy Space Center as Daniel is very interested in space/science (he is studying Physics at University).

The last time we went to Orlando I didn't even know about the Dis! Or any of the complexities of Disney :confused3 I didn't realise you have to have reservations for the restaurants... so we ended up eating hot dogs and such for the whole trip. Two weeks worth of hot dogs and burgers :scared1: Not good.

So this time I booked as many as I could... whilst staying in budget of course. We ate at Ohana, Sci-fi, The Plaza, Saana, Nine Dragons, and Kona Cafe. And lots of places offsite including the lovely IHop (love me some pancakes). I had planned to make breakfast everyday in our little kitchen and most of our luches and dinners to save money (we'll see how that turned out )

I'm writing this report because of course I'm suffering for withdrawel, and going back to work depression. The next time we go back will be with Daniel's family and it won't be for another two years!!! So you can imagine my sadness. I'm secretly planning a short trip to Disneyland Paris. I havn't told anyone yet, I'm just planning it in my head :rolleyes1 I have mentioned the words Disneyland Paris, and I plan to drop small hints here and there ;)

And I think thats everything covered... So lets begin!

Now I have to admit that I didn't take any pictures of us on the travel day... I know this is very bad behaviour but it just happened. I asked Daniel to take a picture of me and he kept saying "I will!" and then he never did :confused3 Then our flight was delayed for two hours because the door was broken and it was all down hill from there. I did try and take as many as I could throughout this painful experience.

The first is my packed suitcase with Oscar in the background looking fed up.
http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1003.jpg

We left at 7:30am and didn't have much traffic so we got to the airport super early, still as is normal everybody but me freaked out that we wern't going to make it  They are super stress heads. Our flight was scheduled for 1:30pm and we were having breakfast at 10:00am.

It was Cafe Rouge that I had the most delicious breakfast of the whole trip  French Toast with fruit and honey, I could seriously eat this everyday of my life, it is yummy :cloud9: And I enjoyed that much more knowing that the plane food would be seriously gross.
http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1007.jpg

Daniel had fried breakfast, but it didn't match my beauty of a breakfast.
http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1004.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1006.jpg

Then we wasted time, bought magazines and books for the journey and found out that our plane was delayed an hour :scared1: I used a computer to go on Facebook and took this when we were finally at boarding... the weather was terrible.
http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1008.jpg

And then we sat on the runway for another hour and a quarter before we finaly took off! Then an 8 hour journey of being uncomfortable, really bad plane food, and Daniel stealing my window seat. It wasn't too bad really thanks to my handy neck pillow. I tried to watch movies but I'd already seen them recently, there was Bridesmaids and Thor, but I was really too excited to contain myself at that point. The lunch was pasta along with sausage and mash. I picked at the pasta but it was gross and the sausage gave Daniel an upset stomach  Not good. Landing was amazing though, I love looking out the window as we land and the earth gets closer and closer.

We got off the plane at 7:30pm and got out the airport and on to our shuttle about an hour later. It was dark and very humid we both felt wrecked. We checked-in and got a room on the second floor of building 6 with a view of... the main road. The bedroom had a nice view of a pond with fountains though so it made up for it, but I couldn't see it in the dark and felt a bit miffed with the room.

The room inside was really nice, new and well furnished, I really enjoyed staying here.

First thing you do on holiday... turn the telly on!
http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1023.jpg

We walked to Walgreens for some water and breakfast but it was a bit of a nightmare walking all the water back to the room in the heat, this was a bad idea :sad2:. Once we got back we had a struggle between eating and sleeping. We were starving but almost asleep standing up. It was about 10:30pm and we worked out we'd nearly been up 24 hours :scared1: But Daniels belly won the fight and we went to Wendy's which was really close. Daniel got a burger and I got chicken nuggets and spilt diet coke all over myself

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1024.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1025.jpg

Some of the Disney staff accomodation is opposite the Sheraton Vistana so there was always loads of off duty CM's around!

Then we got back and crashed. I think I was sad that the trip wasn't turning out how I thought it would, but it was just exhaustion, everything looked much better in the morning.

Waking up on the first day of holiday is the greatest feeling. Having a whole two weeks of fun in fron of you. No work, no chores, nothing boring at all :cool1:

I looked out the window and it looked like we'd brought the English weather with us :rotfl: it was dark cloudy and drizzling, but it didn't last for long. I woke up about 7 and got on the phone, then I woke Daniel up which was unusually easy! I went for a shower and Daniel got impatient (this would happen everyday) so he went to check out the gym and buy me a coffee ;)

When I was done we had about two hours to kill before we needed to pick the car up, so we went to look around the resort.

The swimming pool and the gym...

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1032.jpg

First impression was that it was really nice. I certainly wouldn't complain about staying here again, it's not Disney but it's a pretty nice resort. They could do some new sun loungers though but thats just picky.

We then scooted over to reception to get a taxi to the Buena Vista Hotel to collect our car. DBF was very nervous at this point about driving on the wrong side of road and he was watching the driver like a hawk trying to get tips :rotfl: We got there and checked in at the Alamo desk, got our keys and was told our car was in space no.16.

When I booked I ordered an economy compact. I know that everything is twice as large in America but I certainly wasn't expecting what we got...

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1033.jpg

I did wonder if they made a mistake but DBF was very impressed and couldn't wait to drive it, it was brand new and probably the first brand new that we've ever driven. Very nice considering the first week of rental was free and the next week only cost us 20! We drove around the car park a few times then went back to the resort where I got changed and we decided we were hungry and didn't want to make food, so we went to the Ihop which was about five minutes down the road.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1034.jpg

Dainel looking very pleased himself and the rental car

Excited for my first Ihop of the holiday

DBF's breakfast

My yummy pancakes

I could only eat 1 of these so we got them boxed up and took them back to the room, while eating we decided to SeaWorld that day.

I had to get my voucher exchanged for a proper ticket at the ticket desk, which took ages because they seemed not to know anything about them and the girl who was serving us had a attitude about it :confused3 We seemed to have a problem everytime we tried to exchange our vouchers which I had paid for in advance. It wasn't a problem that we had to wait a bit longer but really they should make sure the staff know about all the types of tickets and vouchers. Anyway we got in eventually

It was fairly busy today and very hot and humid, We were both melting and wanted to go Atlantis but when we got there it was closed!

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1040.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1041.jpg

So we decided to go Kraken instead, I think DBF was getting fed up with me taking photos in this one :rotfl:

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1042.jpg

We waited ages here for the front row, about 40 min! Not the best idea, but DBF does love a front row

We were desperate to get out of heat so we went to see the puffins and penguins.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1043.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1044.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1044.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1048.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1049.jpg

So cute, I could watch them for ages but of course it too "boring" according to Daniel who must be doing something alllll the time :confused3 This is always a problem on any holiday with him, he must do do do every minute of the day

Then we decided to get some lunch at a nice place over looking the water called the Spice Mill. I wasn't hungry so I got some strawberrys and cream and Daniel got a sandwhich and some chocolate chip cookies which quickly melted because we sat outside.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1055.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1050.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1052.jpg

I don't think he was very keen on the sandwhich and most of it went to the fish down below who swarmed us, they were some hungry fish! The sandwhich came with some weird sloppy salad stuff which I also threw to the fish. They liked everything

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1059.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1060.jpg

There was water display going on while we sat there which was convenient!

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1054.jpg

Then we went back to Atlantis which was working again yay! I like this ride, it's a bit weird to be honest (look out for the bloke at the beginning with the seahorse) but still fun, then it was time for Shamu so we made our way over to Shamu stadium, I took some pictures on the way there.

Hi, I never got to go on that slide the whole time! We only went to the pool twice and there were children on it everytime, thought I'd give them priority since I'm 21 years old! But it we ever go back i'll definately try it. Thanks for reading!

Would just like to start this post off with a quick rant about driving. Since I've been back I have a new appreciation for the driving in America, nice and slow and steady. Obviously there are a few people driving badly as there always is everywhere. But I have just driven back from uni for the first time since being back and have got road rage :headache: Everyone drives like they are in some kind of never ending race against time, if you do drive at the speed limit you will get some jerk sitting up your caboosee like your being completely ridiculous by abiding by the law. And if your driving a BMW then your allowed to do whatever speed you fancy even if your driving down a tiny country road, and if anyone gets in your way you can speed round them dangerously like its the grand prix.

I won't moan anymore but heed this as a warning; if you come to the U.K and intend to drive then get ready to do a lot of this face  and this one :headache: Disney/Orlando area=driving heaven

That said I will try to cheer myself with spot of SeaWorld.

So on the way we stopped at Wild Artic which is a simulator ride and/or animals from the artic enclosure. I just wanted to see the animals but this was obviously much too boring for DBF so we queued up for the ride which was about 5min. It was pretty deserted around this part of the park.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1061.jpg

Hated this ride! Its not that bad but I don't do simulators very well they make me feel awful. Of course I do tell Daniel this but sometimes its like I'm speaking another language  If he doesn't feel sick then I must be wrong or exagerating!

After he was so anxious to get to Shamu that he hussled me through the polar bears and walrus's with the promise that we would come back, which surprise, surprise never happend  Boys!

I did manage to take a few pictures of the Baluga wales (who are really amazing)

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1065.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1066.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1067.jpg

I love this whole attraction :lovestruc the animals are amazing and I could spend a long time here. It's quite cold which makes a great break from the heat and it's themed really well. You feel like the animals have a good environment. Anyway I got torn away from here by mr impatience so he could find a good seat for Shumu. We got there about 40min early and it poured down while we were waiting for it to begin.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1068.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1069.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1070.jpg

Then the show started the best part of which in my opinion is the music which is like something from The Lion King and seriously catchy, like can't get it out of your head for days catchy.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1071.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1073.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1076.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1078.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1080.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1079.jpg

Then the splashing began so I put my camera away just in case but we didn't get splashed much to Daniels dissapointment (I was secretly pleased :rolleyes1)

It's a bit different now since the trainers can't get in the water any more, but it didn't notice really in my opinion. I can't enjoy the show really because I think that these animals are much too big to kept in such a small space. I mean they are really quite big. I originally thought that there was another bit for them to go in, but it turns out its just the part that you can see. We did go back again because Daniel wanted to get splashed but I don't think I'd ever see it on other trips. The second time DBF was googling the whales while we waiting for it to begin and he read that if they're dorsel fins are very bent it means they're under stress, and a few of these whales had bent fins especially the big ones. I don't want to judge and its just my opinion but it just makes me feel uncomfortable. There are some animals that I think can have a good life in a zoo but Killer whales are not one of them.

That being said SeaWorld is a great park and I will definately go again I just think that the whales need a much bigger space. But don't be put off it isn't animal cruelty and they were happy to do the tricks, I'm sure they are well cared for they're probably just inappropriate animals to have in a show.

What a misery I am today  No really, I'm not about to go breaking animals out of zoos or anything mad it's just an observation for these particular animals.

So we left SeaWorld and it was still really raining so I didn't take any pictures on the way out but DBF had much fun kicking water at me all the way to car. We decided to go to the supermarket to get some food, coffee and snacks for the week and DBF's Mum had recommended Foodings at the crossroads. Loved the supermarket, it had everything, plus some amazing cakes which I never did try :sad2: although this was probably best because the amount of food I consumed on this holiday was similar to the size of mars. I love the dinosaur scene and the elmo and monster cooke's :goodvibes

We went footlocker for Daniel who bought 4 tshirts for $24  Bargain! These are nice tshirts, they're just plain but good quality and a great deal. He also bought a pair of flip flops that moulded to your feet and were heaven. I wish my flip flops were that comfy, unfortunately I don't pick shoes because their comfy, I pick them because their pretty

We went back the room, unloaded all our stuff and I made us some dinner. I had chicken spring rolls and salad and DBF had steak and rice cakes. He's so exciting with food

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1094.jpg

Then we made our first big mistake and went to watch Apollo 18 at AMC DTD. It was sooooo cold in there I was freezing. We could barely stay awake we were so tired, and the film turned out to be a bit of a horror that we didn't like at all :confused3 Having paid for the tickets though we had to stay right to the end  We were so relieved to get back in the heat, and literally crawled into bed about 1am

We decided to sleep in today and take it easy for the rest of the day as we had an early start the next day for Harry Potter and we wanted to be awake. We woke up at 9, Daniel did some of this :surfweb: while I made breakfast.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1095.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1096.jpg

We had pancakes from yesterdays Ihop and still couldn't eat them all! I must have been trying to work out the tom tom.

Then I went to the pool and Daniel went to the gym.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1097.jpg

Looking at that photo makes me so sad sitting at home with no pool in sight!

We had showers and then set out to do some shopping we went to Vineland Ave Premium Outlets first, it was about two minutes away.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1104.jpg

We did a bit of shopping, Daniel bought jeans and shorts from Tommy Hilfiger, and I bought a jumper from there. I was quite sensible with shopping because I knew it was going to be winter soon so I tried not to buy anything I wouldnt be wearing. Little did I know we would be having summer really late this year. English weather

We stopped for lunch in the food court, Daniel got a burger and fries from AW and I spotted a frozen yogurt stand and got this little beauty...

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1098.jpg

Yummy, but I should've got a drink and you will see why later.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1100.jpg

As you can see DBF had eaten his burger before I'd even got back.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1103.jpg

Dbf was still tired and so was I, I blame the journey and the jetlag!

We tried to decide what we were doing for the rest of the day because we had a reservation for Ohana at 9pm. I suggested DTD so we set off there, where we headed straight for World of Disney.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1105.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1106.jpg

I spend most of the time in here looking up!

We picked Daniels sister a tinkerbell snow globe, then we went to pick me a new watch! I'd been waiting for this forever, I was so excited.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1108.jpg

I tried lots on, I originally wanted quite a chunky one with a big face and a white band, but a lot of them looked way too big on my tiny wrist. I chose this one:

This is my box:

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1109.jpg

After that we walked around a bit more and I started to get a really bad headache, it was really hot and I hadn't had a drink since the morning. I was so not used the Florida heat!

I had some water then we headedhttp://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1112.jpghttp://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1113.jpg to the car.

I managed to convince Daniel that we had time for a quick stop at Magic Kingdom before our Ohana dinner! And that we may aswell go to Ohana on the monorail so I could get some monorail magic! YAY I was very excited that we were going to Magic Kingdom and at the same time I was all headachy and tired, but I think happiness took over.

Loving all your pictures! Can't wait to see more. We just passed our 180day mark and we'll also be fitting in SeaWorld in our trip in March/April.
Regarding the Shamoo show at SeaWorld, I didn't know the trainers can no longer swim w/ the killer whales... :(
I did notice the girl trainers' hair was all pulled back tightly in a small bun.

Thanks for reading! You must be so excited, wish I was planning another trip! Yes, I was overhearing this woman (or eavesdropping what ever you wanna call it ;)) telling her friends about what happened and apparently the girl had her hair in a pony and it dragged her under playing.

They were campaigning when we were there to get the trainers back in the water, but I don't think it makes much difference everyone still seemed to enjoy the show :thumbsup2

I agree with you about Sea World and the whales...I guess before I went I always just assumed that there was some kind of conservation mission with their breeding program...but then I looked it up and found out orcas aren't endangered AND they have much longer lifespans in the wild than in captivity.

Looking forward to hearing about MK and 'Ohana!

Me too, I was a bit miffed when I found that out, apparently they can live to 60 in the wild and only live to 20 in captivity :confused3

I think they should think about replacing Shamu with something else, but I know it's their main attraction so they probably won't.

We were finally on our way to Magic Kingdom after dropping our shopping off at the resort, I was a bit pleased with myself being able to sneak this in early. Is there any better feeling then being on the way to Magic Kingdom with a dinner at Ohana to look forward to. Its a bit silly how much I can't wait for our next trip, but anyway on with the story...

We parked up and jumped on a tram...

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1117.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1118.jpg

There was a crazy amount of lovebugs everywhere, we didn't see any of these last holiday and were trying to figure out what they were, at one point we thought they were two headed bugs  (must've been the heat) Then we heard a cast member calling them lovebugs and figured it out

We went to exchange my voucher for our tickets and had the same trouble we had at SeaWorld. Nobody seemed to know about our vouchers! But at least the ladies wern't rude.

We hopped on the monorail which is always fun the first time of the holiday.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1119.jpg

And saw chip and dale!

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1120.jpg

Then we were looking at this wonderful sight.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1121.jpg

I still had a whopping headache so we stopped in the sweet shop to get a poweraid and then we walked through all the stores to get out of the heat. It was very humid today like being in sauna all the time. We stopped for a while to watch this cast member blowing glass. He was so clever, he was making little sorcerer mickeys.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1122.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1123.jpg

I could see the parade from inside, I watch it for little while then couldn't bare to watch the cast members dancing in that heat. I don't how they do it, I could just about put one foot infront of the other.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1124.jpg

We made our way to tommorow land to go on space mountain which had a really short wait.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1125.jpg

This made me feel so sick, having my head knocking around against the back seat, I got off and had to sit down with this...

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1126.jpg

Daniel went to get dole whip while I was nursing my head and then wouldn't let me have any because I was complaining too much!

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1127.jpg

I did manage to get some and it delish as expected. Then he made me go on space mountain again, he said I wasn't sitting right and thats why I was bumping my head. I sat forward this time and still bumped my head!

We walked around to fantasy land but the waits were really long for everything and we started getting really hungry and wished that I had booked Ohana for earlier.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1128.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1129.jpg

We went on the big boat (can't remember the name ) to waste a bit of time, then I suggested Haunted Mansion which I'd never been on before. I was feeling a lot better by then. We went through the long queue...

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1132.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1131.jpg

The humidity is doing something really bad to my fringe is this picture so excuse the mess.

Finally it was time for dinner, this was the only day that I didn't mind leaving Magic Kingdom I was sooooo hungry, I could've ate a person.

We hopped (or walked like sloths) on to the monorail and checked in for Ohana, I sat in a sofa chair and nearly fell right asleep until the buzzer went off. A lovely cast member talked us through dinner and then we were sat at the back which didn't faze me because I was soo hungry.

The food came out quick and was so delish, I was in heaven. Everything was great even the dressing on the salad, and the steak was so well cooked it was perfect, I had third helpings of the steak. The sauces were so good, even the peanut one and I don't like peanuts. Dbf was so tired I don't think he could even taste food, when we talk about it now he can hardly remember what went on or what he ate! But needless to say we will be going back and I definately enjoyed it.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1133.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1139.jpg

We then proceeded to have a fight over dessert. I am not good at sharing dessert, I really don't like to, and Daniel shoves the biggest spoonfulls into his gob at speed and then has a go at me for hogging!! What a hypocrite. I didn't know you could get more dessert if you wanted, otherwise I would have.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1140.jpg

I don't think I ever remembered to take food pictures before we started eating!

Wishes came on but we couldn't really see it and were too busy having an epic spoon fight over the bread pudding.

And thats it, we stumbled home (I don't even remember the journey) and went straight to sleep, another exhausting day on the cards tomorrow, Harry Potter early entry! Many lessons were learnt today. I never again went without eating and drinking for so long. I had learnt that frozen yoghurt is not a substitute for lunch. Silly hot weather newbie. I also learnt not to sit in the back seat on space mountain. So you could say that today was a learning curve, next time we go to Magic Kingdom I vowed to get a grip and not let myself get in a state.

We had to get up at 6am to be at Islands of Adventure for 7:15am to get free parking we could arrive no later then this. It was a struggle to get up when it was still dark outside! But we managed it, got in the car at 7am and then walked as fast as we could over to IOA where there was a Virgin rep waiting for us. We went through the turnstiles and met a member of staff who would escort us to the WWOHP! This was a totally fun VIP sort of experience which was only marred when we had to wait 15min for one family who didn't show. So we started walking finally and then they turn up and we had to wait another 10min for them to catch up! I was not amused, and they didn't apologise or anything. They were eating up our time at WWOHP and pretty soon the crowds would start to fill the place up.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1141.jpg

I took this quick as we were going in the Three Broomsticks for "breakfast". I say this with sarcasm because we were so late because of that bloody family that there was no breakfast left, it had all been eaten. We got some cofee and decided just to carry them round with us, as we were missing out on an empty WWOHP!

We walked round trying to get as many pictures in as we could without the masses.

Im sorry to say that this ride made me fell really sick. It also got stuck the first time which was scary but got going again after about 5min. It is most similar to Spiderman 3D which is a great ride, and it was a really good ride, I just can't stomach simulator rides :sad2: I wish I could enjoy it because some of the live action bits were fantastic but I while I'm enjoying it on the one hand on the other I'm thinking "please don't throw up, please don't throw up" I think I might take some anti sickness pills next time, maybe that will help :confused3

This was the best Ollivander we saw (and we went six times! which I will explain in a bit). He had a good accent and was a convincing wizzard, he put a lot of effort in. There were no children in there yet so he picked a couple to get their wands, and this is what started my Dbf's obsession with getting picked and why we went back six times! He is 22 years old would you believe and is still being a complete kid

We went to check out the the shop after...

We had fun in here looking at all the wands and Daniel had to buy one  go figure. He also bought a note book and I debated on buying a gryffindor scarf, which I thought would be good for walking the dogs in the winter (any excuse right? :rolleyes1).

Then we realised when we starving so we went to the Three Broomsticks for breakfast.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1182.jpg

Daniel had a fried breakfast and I had the fruit platter.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1183.jpg

It was good fruit and healthy I guess but I did wish I got what the dbf had. All the food we had in here was really yummy, apart from one thing... the croissants! I dunno how you get a croissant wrong but they did. The little scone thing was quite nice. Also the only thing they got wrong was the grape jelly that came with it. We don't have grape jelly in England! It should be strawberry jam in little jars. But I won't nit pick anymore!

This place was brilliant, you could sit and stare up at the ceilling for ages, there was soo much detail, even a projection of owls shadows flying around on the wall! Sitting there listening to the Harry Potter music and just looking around was heaven. They even had a rain effect on the windows that was so realistic it felt like you was sitting in chilly England in Hogsmead. It was fantastic. http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1184.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1186.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1193.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1194.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1200.jpg

We both decided we preferred the cold kind. Now, I'd bought a packed lunch with me today because I thought it would save us money until I realised that to rent a locker all day would cost more then the pack lunch was worth. Daniel suggested throwing it, but I couldn't bring myself to chuck a brand new lunch bag that Dbf's Mum had brought us. So we decided to go put in the car :confused3 Bad idea. We gave up on the packed lunch thing after this, and I ended up leaving it in the freezer in the room! Which I blame on Daniel because he was rushing me like crazy and wouldn't let me double check if I'd left anything! :headache: I still feel really bad, I thought I'd got everything!

We watched some turtles before we started our trek...

So we went all the way to the car and dropped off the lunch bag and Daniel's wand and the other things we brought. We got back to IOA completely hot and exhausted the first thing we did was go on The Hulk which I don't have any pictures of :confused3 Not that keen on this ride I think its quite bumpy. Then we walked through Marvel land stopping to go on Spiderman 3D which is an excellent ride, and not nausea inducing at all.

We always saw loads of characters in this part of the park and I have to say that they were always very good and in character, some of them would run about like they were about to save the day which was quite fun to watch. I think most younger boys would have a great time in this part of the park, I know my 22 year old Dbf did :rotfl:

Then we went on Ripsaw Falls and got completely drenched, Dbf was desparate to go on Bilgerat Barges but they were closed :sad2:

I don't look happy here!

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1207.jpg

We walked around in our sopping wet clothes and Daniel bought a Captain America t-shirt in the shop, I wanted to look around but I was so cold in my wet clothes so I sat in the sun trying to dry.

We went on The Hulk again then went over to Jurassic Park. We saw more characters on our way.

We went on the River Adventure, one of faves the theming is so great, then stopped in the Discovery center for a sit down.

Daniel was getting tired, we decided to go back to The Three Broomsticks for some dinner.

Daniel got a turkey leg and I got fish and chips... yummy.

We both got more butter beer. It's a good job they don't sell this anywhere else because I could drink my weight in it and the calories in it must crazy.

I could've sat here longer but it was so cold in there and I was still really wet and freezing my butt off.

We got in the queue for The Forbidden Journey again so I could take pictures, it was a 60min wait. The green houses are definately the worst part of this queue, they are hot and theres not much to look at at all. It's where you do the most waiting, then when you get in the castle you zoom through.

There was a girl in this queue that would not staring at me, I mean really intently staring, it was very off putting. I was feeling bad already because I was wet, scruffy and my make up had melted off. Make up was always a problem for me because I've got quite bad patches of eczema on my face, but I always found it would melt in the heat and look a mess. But I didn't want to not wear it because then I'd look an even bigger mess.

I was hoping it would go before I went on holiday, but It still hasn't gone now and I've been back a few weeks. Anyway after today I kept my make up in my bag so I could fix it. Staring girl continued to stare for the whole queue, but I did notice she was doing it to a few people, in the end I gave her my most disapproving look and she stopped. Not sure what that was all about.

I still didn't get to take many pictures because the queue inside moved so fast.

After this we walked back to the car, didn't think I'd make it because I so tired, I think I stopped on almost every bench. It had been a great day. Daniel literally fell asleep when we got back, and I followed shortly after watching some... adverts. Seriously I've never seen so many adverts on telly before, so I ended up watching a lot of Stacy which is strangely addictive.

Enjoyed your Harry Potter experiences and pictures! I'm hoping we'll be able to spend a day at IOA next year...oddly, I'm the one who's pushing for it the most, even though I have three Harry Potter loving boys.

Joining in! Loving hearing about your trip so far!

I had a lot of comments to make while reading through all the posts but now my mind is blank haha.

I love Atlantis at seaworld! Mainly because of the bizarre story line... I mean what does the seahorse have to do anything!

I know what you mean about Florida drivers. Everyone always seems calmer than here. Oh and I miss how wide American lanes are... So good!:thumbsup2

Forbidden journey made me feel sick too and I was so bummed because of all the hype... I really wanted to love it! And the non screen parts were amazing. But the rest of the time blahhhh

I love all your dresses by the way :)

Looking forward to hearing about the rest of your trip!

You should definately try and go, the theming is definately on par with Disney, it really is done well. And even if you don't want to spend the whole day at wwohp there is a lot for three boys to do at IOA. Make sure you check out Spiderman 3D they'll probably like it even if they're not into the super hero/marvel thing. The water rides are really good aswell, but you will wet... really, really wet. So be prepared

Thanks for joining in! I know right! The seahorse bit is so weird.

I miss the driving in Orlando its so Disneyfied.

I'm glad I'm not alone. I so wanted to like it, I wish it was all action because those bits were so good.

Thank You! You might be able to tell that I've got a bit of a dress habit :rotfl:

The plan for today was to go to Hollywood Studio's and stay till Fantasmic, we also had a reservation for dinner at Sci-fi which I was super excited about. I woke up refreshed from my long sleep, desparate to get tsm fast passes. Daniel woke up tired from his long sleep and desparate to get Ihop. I lost the battle

HS opened at 10am and it was 9am so I thought Ihop was doable and we stopped on the way there.

Daniel got the usual fry up and this time he multi grain pancakes.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1231.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1232.jpg

He wasn't a fan of the pancakes... you just can't do pancakes healthy, they're best when their full of fat and terribly bad for you.

I got this:

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1233.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1234.jpg

Didn't like it at all. I can remember that the melon tasted really bad which is weird. Definately next time we go I'm not going to try to eat healthily at Ihop. Its a place where you just have to eat bad and get over it.

And we were on our way to HS!!! Pretty soon we were seeing this:

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1235.jpg

And sitting in one of these:

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1236.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1237.jpg

We didn't get there for rope drop but we did alright.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1238.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1239.jpg

It was filling up pretty quick, so we started the march for TSM fast passes. At this point Daniel said "I'll take the map and I'll get us there quickly", in a voice which said "your a woman and therefore awful at directions and I'm the best because I'm a man". Well he went and took the longest possible way, while the whole time I was pleading at him to walk faster, walk faster. He is a seriously slooooow walker. Even when he's rushing he is soooo sloooow. Like a sloth. So be the time we got there the fast pass return was at 2:30pm! Bit of a fail. But honestly with Dbf being so slow it's lucky we got any at all.

So we hadn't been on any rides and my Dbf was tired, moaning and slowing me down! :confused3 We decided to go do Dbf's faves TOT and RNRC.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1240.jpg

We went on TOT first, the wait was about 25min, not too bad.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1241.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1242.jpg

Love this ride, so fun. I never noticed before that you line up in the basement. I loved the basement bit, the theming is amazing like being in actual hotel basement (which in real life would be really boring), in fact the theming on the whole ride is amazing.

We then did RNRC which is Daniels fave. I love the start where you go really fast and then you cruise through the Hollywood sign, but then the rest is too twisty turny for me, I wish there were more cruising bits. We got fastpasses for this.

We then walked over to Muppets, I was super for this show, it was a new one for me and I love the Muppets. On a another note it's about near enough to to Christmas to watch "The Muppets Christmas Carol" again!

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1243.jpg

Loved it! Hope the new movie is good. Picture time...

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1244.jpg

Then a very nice man offered to take a picture for us, and even got down on one knee to take it!

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1245.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1246.jpg

We went back to RNRC to use our fast passes, and got these on the way back...

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1247.jpg

That lemonade was yummy, it was really, really hot today. After today the weather took a turn and was quite bareable, but we were suffering, so that lemonade really hit the spot.

We walked over to Star Wars and got in line. I wasn't too keen on going on because it's a simulator, but guess who made me go. He was always saying "You don't know until you try".

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1248.jpg

Well I do know before I try. Horrible. I just had to sit with my head in my lap and wish that it would be over.

It was time for Lights, Motors, Action! so we made our way to the stadium. Which had no cover and a couple of useless fans. It was so in here you could have cooked an egg sunny side up on my forehead. I was dying, I couldn't concentrate on the show, I just wanted it to be over so I could get out and breathe again.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1249.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1250.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1251.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1252.jpg

The Lightening McQueen bit was alright, but overall I was dissapointed. Too much cheese and not enough stunts. Alot of what they did was driving around in patterns but honestly if I go down to my local Krispy Kreme car park on a Saturday night I could see yobs doing pretty much the same thing in the same cars. If your gonna have that much cheese you've got to have enough crackers to go with it!

Plus it sweat drippingly hot, to the point where I was about to start screaming to the nearest CM to let me out right now. They really ought to do something about that, more fans or something.

Trying to eat healthy at ihop never seems to work well for us either. Last time we got some fruit plate before hitting disney and i swear it was all limp and sad tasting. We ended up eating again as soon as we got to the parks. Next time i'll be picking some calorie overload instead.

I think getting ANY fastpass for TSM is a bonus! SO crazy there!

Yayy almost time to watch The Muppets Christmas Carol! Actually its almost time to pull out all the christmas favs! Yayyy!

That sucks about Star Tours! The old version made me sick...so I am sure this one will too. Only problem is that I am sure I will still try it to make sure... and I bet I will end up with my head in my lap too.

Yeah that show sounds like a bit of a letdown. The really need more than those non-helpful fans!

Thats the trouble with motion sickness! You have to try stuff just to see, then you end feeling ill. I had less trouble last holiday, I think the older I'm getting the more wimpy my belly is, so goodness knows what it'll be like when I'm thirty, I won't be able to go Dumbo without getting sick  You should try Star Tours just in case, at least it's over pretty fast!

So it was at last time to use our fastpasses for TSM and sadly the only time we went on this ride the whole trip :confused3

It started to rain and it was very very welcome. I hoped it would cool down a bit but it didn't.

There was still a bit of a queue even with the fastpasses, and the amount of fastpass people coming in was a bit mad, I guess because the slot had just oppened up. I wouldn't have wanted to be in stand by line just then, the CM's were hardly letting anyone through from that lane. The look on some people faces as we all poured past them!

While in the queue the kid behind decided to pull my skirt up! And I was on the top of stairs, bum out to the world :rotfl: Its lucky he was only 4 and very cute.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1254.jpg

You can't beat the theming in here it's amaze balls. It was good ride but Dbf's shooter wasn't working properly... he still beat me though :rolleyes1 But in my defence I was bothering to aim at things, his balls were going everywhere at a furious speed. Of course he didn't get the highest score of the day so naturally he got the hump

After that we had a little while till our reservation at 4 so we went to do TOT and RNRC again.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1256.jpg

It was still really cloudy, that bit of rain didn't help at all.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1255.jpg

We were about half an hour early for our reservation but we couldn't wait anymore! I was about ready to stuff my face.

We waited in the lobby on a nice bench and I started to feel sore throaty and headachy and it so nice to sit in the air con and watch the old movies :thumbsup2

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1257.jpg

And now i need to explain that my camera, even though it passes for acceptable in the day, is awful anywhere that is a bit dark. So please forgive these photo's for being a bit rubbish.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1258.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1260.jpg

As you can see I tried all the different settings, it just hates the dark! I'm looking for second hand "proper" camera right now, so if anyones got suggestions?

I really want something that can take clear pictures of fireworks and parades and things.

We were sat behind a family in the back seat and it felt a little awkward at first, they kept taking photos and we would have to duck down with our heads on the table. It would've been nice to sit in the front and to gotten a picture, but we still enjoyed it.

We both had an oreo milkshake...

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1261.jpg

Daniel had chilli and he cleared the whole plate so he must've liked it

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1262.jpg

I had onion rings, which were very tasty.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1263.jpg

I got the beef and blue salad, which was great. Lovely tender beef and crisp lettuce. I hate leafy lettuce its like rabbit food.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1264.jpg

Daniel got steak and mash, and he liked it but didn't rave about it.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1265.jpg

I started to feel really tired and sick, and I was torn between staying for Fantasmic! or going home for a sleep. Daniel didn't think he could stay awake so we left, and I have no more pictures because we had a pretty boring evening.

We went to the supermarket, where I got some dayquil. Which is amazing! I wish they sold it over here.

Anyway after I had it I had it I felt better and we went to find Pirate Cove mini golf. We found it next to Foodings supermarket and played the easy course. Its on quite alot of swampy water and I sat on a wooden bench and got bit on the bum by a spider which hurt reallllllly bad!!!! Like being stabbed by a tiny little sword. I was sorry I sat on that spider :confused3

We had fun, but it was easily the hottest night of the trip, sweaty buckets hot. And the mozzies were loving the swampy water, and having a field day on our arms and legs. After being eaten alive... nearly, we went home and crashed, and I "accidentally" ate a whole box of Junior Mints :rolleyes1. They are my absolute fave, wish we had those over here too!

Next up Typhoon Lagoon and we finally get to go to Fantasmic!

I have to say sorry in advanced for not having many pictures for today. All I've got is one of me at Typhoon Lagoon and some real bad pictures of Fantasmic! which I will blame on the camera. So I hope you can forgive me.

We had a little lay in, had breakfast, and we were off to Typhoon lagoon, which took about 5 minutes it was so close!

The first we did when we got in was take this photo:

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/DanielsBlackBerry091.jpg

Then we went to get a locker and brought an underwater throw away, but I havn't got it developed yet because we never used all the photo's. But goodness knows what they'll come out like anyway!

Typhoon Lagoon was great! We went round and round the lazy river where I laughed hysterically at Daniel's attempts to get in the rubber ring, and Daniel soaked me at every opportunity. Then we went on a few slides and headed to the snorkeling bit.

We got out snorkles and listened to the safety instructions, then got in the freeeezing water. The first time I completely panicked, I felt like I couldn't breathe even though I obviously could  So I took it off and just swam to the other side but your not allowed to kick so it took a rather long time. The second time a got halfway and then snorted water and had to take the snorkel off again. The third time I got the whole way! And it was really good fun, we decided we'd love to go to discovery cove.

After that we had lunch, we got a pulled pork sandwhich which was yummy. The best roll we had at Disney, freshly baked and crusty a soft in all the right places. We also got a chicken wrap which was gross, so be warned.

After lunch we did the coaster slides, which were fantastic, love them, then we did some more lazy river and called it a day.

We went back to the room and I had a swim and Daniel went to the gym and had a little swim.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1266.jpg

I suggested we do Fantasmic! since it was a perfect time. So off we went.

And the first thing we did was look for mickey ears and get some snacks. We didn't find mickey ears but we found snacks!

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1267.jpg

I adore chocolate m&m's and I'd already picked out this chocolate dipped pretzel.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1268.jpg

Daniel got a mickey cookie and a brownie, he didn't eat them all at once!

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1269.jpg

We queued up, it was hot hot hot. And for some reason I have this picture of said random persons head:

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday1270.jpg

Perhaps for the sky?

The clouds started rolling in, and a message came over the speaker saying due to the weather the show might be cancelled :scared1: Nooooooooooo...

The lightening was amazing to watch, we took some video's as the storm came nearer and nearer.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/th_Holiday1272.jpg (http://s1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/?action=view&current=Holiday1272.mp4)

And it gradually moved away! The Brazillion tour groups proceeded to do chanting and the mexican wave, they've got extreme noisyness down.

Continued...

Today was a Universal Studios day! We parked the car and made our way down to citwalk, we noticed that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part two was on and even though we've seen it we decided we had to see it again after Universal!

At some point in the days before I had put my sunglasses at the bottom of my bag and they broke :headache: Think it was Harry Potter day but I never kept a diary so I'm a bit sketchy on the fine details. Anyway on the way in bought new ones from a stand and vowed not to break them. First I looked in the Quiet Flight surf shop but the sales assistant was trying to force me to buy this pair of sunglasses that didn't like and she would not leave me alone! For two seconds. I said I'd get them and she put them behind the till, then we ran away! I know, I know... shameful. But it was like she'd had way too much cofee and drugs, and I like to take my sweet time picking out sunglasses.

We were both scared the rest of the trip that we'd run into her!

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011001.jpg

Daniel refused to take pictures next to the Universal ball but promised he'd do them later.

First we did rip, ride, rock it. Daniels fave ride of the trip. They pump music into the chair you sit in, which you get to choose when you sit down iPod stylie.

We went a on few time because there were no queues.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011002.jpg

It's a really smooth ride with some big drops, and its really weird to be listening to whatever music you choose. I choose something quite mellow in the pop genre. I recommend this ride if your a scaredy cat, because the music really changes the experience, I know this is a bit hard to believe, but it really does!

We skipped the mummy and dissaster because they had 20min queues, and headed here:

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011003.jpg

Where we stood last hoiliday and took the same picture whilst Daniel was on the phone telling everyone how empty it was. De ja vu

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011008.jpg

We went on Men In Black, and the Simpsons, there was a short wait for both. And then it was unbearably hot and Daniel was moaning, moaning, moaning... so it was time for luch and air conditioning. We looked on the map and decided we'd go to Lombards landing instead of eating junk food. I still ended up eating junk food though.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011009.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011010.jpg

It was 12:15 and Lombards hadn't opened so we sat inside to wait with a few other people. There were a couple of Universal bigwigs who were seated first.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011015.jpg

It's a really nice restaurant with quite good theming, better then some Disney ones we went to. I know...

We sat down and ordered drinks. Daniel was feeling like this:

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011016.jpg

Bless him, all the excitement was making him sleepy and grumpy, like a 5 year old

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011017.jpg

Daniel had Lobster Bisque which was reallly good. Flavoursome without being fishy.

I took more photos of random people:

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011019.jpg

Or perhaps it was a picture of the fish tank.

I had shrimp and fries. It was yummy.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011020.jpg

And Daniel had crab cake sandwhich, which he deemed to be nice but I don't really get much info out of him other then a grunt, or "it's okay".

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011021.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011023.jpg

Overall it was a very nice lunch, and I'd go back again and probably get the Lobster Bisque for lunch and something else from the appertiser menu.

Refreshed, we made our way out of a nice air conditioned restaurant and the ridiculous heat. It was very pretty out.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011024.jpg

First stop was Jaws

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011024.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011026.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011028.jpg

I know Jaws is old but it really good ride, I can understant why they don't want to get rid of it. For a good ride sit on the left hand side, its actually really scary.

Next up was Shrek 3D. This is from the orientation part, which is quite funny.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011029.jpg

Then the Mummy!

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011030.jpg

The queue for this is excellent. Theres interactve bits and people walking around dressed out scaring everyone.

When we came this lady was meeting and greeting:

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011031.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011033.jpg

And this is the other table service restaurant Finnegans:

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011032.jpg

We'd missed Beetlejuice because the queue for the Mummy was soo long so we decided to wait for the next one and do Dissaster which takes up about 25mins.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011022.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011034.jpg

The beginning part is a bit tedious, but the cms are funny and the end bit is worth the wait.

Now it was time Beetlejuice's Graveyard Review, so we got a snack and a drink.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011036.jpg

Not the best churro ever, too skinny and crunchy.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011037.jpg

And lemonade that was mostly ice. Nice when the ice melted though.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011038.jpg

We got a spot at the frount and waited for it to start.

Beetlejuice comes out first and he's really funny, but a little dirty. It didn't offend me but parents might've found it a bit much. To be honest I don't think the kids wouldv'e understood the naughty jokes but it was a bit different from a Disney show. Not bad different, just different, which it should be, it's Universal after all.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011048.jpg

I fed my habit of taking pictures of random people:

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011049.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011050.jpg

They sang about 6 different songs, and it was quite enjoyable, sitting there singing along.

And that was it, we we're tired and made our way of Universal, not before taking the obligatory Universal ball pictures.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011051.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011052.jpg

We went back to the resort and got changed ready for Harry Potter, and then back to Universal. The drive was so easy, right on the I4 and then when you come off turn left and your there!

We walked around Universal which was fun.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011053.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011054.jpg

Proof that Daniel's pictures are worst than mine.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011057.jpg

I went to sweetshop and loaded up for the movie, and Daniel got a pizza in the cinema.

It was great seeing HP again! Can't wait till it comes out on DVD and I get to watch it again.

We came out and went in the shop.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011060.jpg

Then we went back the to resort and a well deserved sleep.

Today was Kennedy Space Center day, and dbf was as excited as my dbf can get (which is not very). He had been before when he was younger but thought it was boring and fell asleep for most of the day, as a result he couldn't remember much. He is a science nerd so he likes this sort of thing, I can take it or leave it. I didn't hate it, it was a quiet, easy going sort of day, and the best bit was the tour.

When we left I must of been in a daze because it wasn't until we arrived that I realised we didn't have a phone, or any cash. Luckily I had my card, but wasn't sure how much money I had on it or whether it would go through. Daniel was freaking out that he would'nt be able to call his parents all day, and blaming me for not being with it, being forgetful, saying I should get a grip, I'd ruined the day ect. Then I had a go at him, saying how it's not just my responsibility to remember everything, it was an accident, not the end of world, stop being a big baby ect.

Thank God that I had my card, and that it worked when we bought our tickets, thats all I can say. The moment the lady handed me my card back with our tickets I almost cried with joy that we wouldn't have to drive all the back to the resort. I managed to console Daniel by telling him that his parents would put two and two together and realise that we had forgotten our phones and that we'd be back by 4 at least so he could ring them then and there was no need to freak out.

Our tickets included a bus tour that started about 11:30am, but there were earlier ones it all depends what time you get there. We got there about 10:00am.

So after a turbulant start to the day we were off. You walk through the entrance and into a courtyard where there a various building that you can go into. We went into the building on the left which was a bit of discovery center/museum.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011063.jpg

They have presentations but no one was really listening. In fact there weren't many people there at all. Daniel got addicted to a little game where you park a lunar craft onto the moon. And I busied myself by taking pictures, which is what I did all day... so get ready for a load of pictures.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011064.jpg

I went to the toilet, got lost trying to find one, took an age, and of course dbf was really mad when I finally got back, and mad that we didn't have phones again. And I got mad and said what could possibly happen to me in Kennedy Space Center? And that I'm not an idiot, and can cope on my own for a while without forgetting how to walk and talk and eat without his assistance.

And that was the last we had a argument we had that day ;)

I went to get breakfast from a little cart.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011065.jpg

And fed most of it to the birds. Daniel got a chocolate bar, and we queued up for the coach. It was fairly full, we got a seat near the back and we set off. This is where the onslaught of photo's begins :rolleyes1

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011066.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011068.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011069.jpg

The coach occasionally stopped for ten minutes so you could get out and take pictures.

And shockingly I managed to get a genuinely happy picture of dbf!

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011071.jpg

Here's a picture of our coach. Great for wheelchair users.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011072.jpg

We went passed this builiding which was massive, and learned that it was used to store space shuttles.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011074.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011075.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011073.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011071.jpg

Then we went to launch sites.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011077.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011079.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011080.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011081.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011083.jpg

The tour guide spoke alot about the animals that surround the place and how they get all the animals out of the area before a shuttle launch by using fireworks. The animals would come back to area afterwards. They told us to keep eyes our for crocs.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011084.jpg

We stopped again near the sea.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011086.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011087.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011088.jpg

They also talked about the trawler which carries the shuttle to the launch pad. It spans that whole gravel path!

You could tell the tourguide and the driver were dejected that the nasa space program is being scrapped. They were pretty miserable about it. Apparently commercial companies are now using parts of nasa, but they have had no idea what else will happen.

Hi! I've just caught up with your trip report.. really enjoying it so far.. trying to remember everything I thought of while reading it... :goodvibes

Sea World - loved your photos, I've not been there since 1993 (aged 8!) and it's changed soo much, there were no rides there then just the shows!

IoA and Wizarding World... I'm one of the very, very few people who have never read or watched a single Harry Potter book/movie :rolleyes1 so I've not been too worried about seeing the new area of IoA.. however, I think I will need to watch at least one of the movies before we next go there, as the theming looks amazing! :thumbsup2

Sorry that you felt unwell that first night at the Magic Kingdom.. I understimated the Florida heat on our honeymoon and almost fainted one night  - quickly learnt to stay hydrated!

We eat very similarly! DH will nearly always choose a burger at counter service restaurants whereas I pick the salads & fruits :cutie:

Enjoyed your photos of the Space Center - it's not somewhere I've ever been but we saw it (from a distance) at Port Canaveral from the Disney Dream :cloud9:

and I love your outfits btw! hehe

Looking forward to reading more, hope you're having a good weekend,

The space center looks pretty interesting, I really like the pictures from across the water. Would you do it again? Or is it more a once every few years thing?
:confused3 funny how those little arguments come up on holiday. Seems so serious at the time and so silly when you look back on it.
Good work on getting a smiley picture from dbf! Sometimes can be quite a mission :lmao:

Thanks for reading!

SeaWorld is fun, you should definately give a try! Even if you just spend a morning or afternoon. It's not Disney but enjoyable in its own way. My fave show there is Blue Horizons, but we didn't see this year.

WWOHP is soo good even if you have read the books or seen the films. The themeing is brilliant, and there's a really good atmosphere more similar to Disney than Universal. Although reading the books will help you pick out all the details like us geeks

I remember reading that part of your trip report. I won't be underestimating the heat again either! It's amazing how much better you feel after a bottle of water.

I know! He generally eats whatever he wants while I try and eat the healthy stuff... sometimes I wish it was the other way round!

I'd love to do a Disney cruise, your honeymoon cruise looked amazing!

Thank you :goodvibes

I think it's a once in a while sort of thing. I'm glad we did it, and had a good day but there are so many other things to do in Orlando I wouldn't do it next trip. It was also a little bit neglected and run down and I don't think there will anything new to see anytime soon.

I know, at the time I was so mad! And now it seems stupid, we always have arguments that blow over in about 5 minutes

I've just realised that I put that picture in twice  I must've really liked it!

Hello again to anybody who is still reading this! Sorry it has taken me so long to do another update, I've just been so busy with uni, work, and then christmas. But I've got the next two weeks off, so I'm going to try to finish it.

We left off with a shed load of pictures of Kennedy Space Centre and here's some more!

We stopped for a minute to take some pics.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011091.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011092.jpg

We stopped at the second part of the complex, and saw a little lift off demonstration.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011094.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011095.jpg

And then we went into a smallish museum type area.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011096.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011099.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011102.jpg

We poked around this cafe but didn't get anything.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011114.jpg

We bought a cookie pretending to be an ice cream. And got the bus back to the main complex.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011116.jpg

Daniel went on a shuttle ride which I flatly refused to do, sounding something like this... "I would to go one day without going on some simulator that makes me want to vomit!".

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011117.jpg

So I sat in the shade taking awful pictures of myself, as you do.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011118.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011120.jpg

Till he came back. Yay!

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011121.jpg

We went a star trek museumy area, and a staff member took ten minutes taking this awful photo...

Honestly there wasn't much of an atmosphere it was very dead. We left about three. The verdict being that we enjoyed it once but wouldn't want to go back.

We stopped at the apartment to pick up our phones and money, then we were off to the shops, premium outlets to be exact.

I only have a couple of photos, but I was shopping which is more important than taking photos sometimes.

My bf was desparate to get a pair of Timberland trainers to replace his which were dying, but it soo fussy it's unreal. I really liked these, he said they had no support...

His poor old trainers (which he still had by the way... Yes, he is that fussy).

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011139.jpg

We went in out and out of every shoe shop in the whole place and he decided on some skater type shoes that he never ever wears, and that are sitting unworn in the cupboard at this very moment.

I managed to get into forever 21 and had a field day in there. Love that shop.

Then we were exhausted and needed fooooood. We to Vinito's an Italian.

Mmmmmmmm food.

Breaded mozzerella with tomato sauce.

Speaks for itself I think...

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011142.jpg

My chicken and spaghetti, simple and tasty.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011143.jpg

Daniels viel and spaghetti.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011144.jpg

He didn't like the thick sauce on the pasta, but I loved it. That's the way I like my pasta.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011145.jpg

I do believe I wasn't feeling too good so we went to the supermarket, and got me some dayquil. Then we went home and hit the hay.

That's all for now.

Hi! Glad you are still writing your TR :goodvibes I'm not sure we'd go over to the Space Center but it was interesting to see your photos and read about it :thumbsup2.

Lol my DH bought some boots from that Timberland store a few years ago, and they had a 'buy one get one free' offer on - so he got some trainers for 'free' too!

Hi! I'm glad your still reading!! I will finish it eventually, but it's hard when you know your not going again for a long while. Writting this TR gives me the disney blues!

Honestly shoe shopping with my DBF is my worst nightmare! I love those 'buy one get one free offers', I can't ever imagine having offers like that over here!

Bit of real life update before I get on with the next installment....

We're going to Disneyland Paris!!!! :cheer2: We're going on the 8th of Feb for 4 days for my birthday. So excited! I get to use the camera that I got for christmas and hopefully get some good pictures even in the dark.

And now on to Magic Kingdom day! The day I'd been waiting for, I think I could spend the whole holiday there and still enjoy myself.

Tram and boat pics...

Another random persons head....

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011151.jpg

And we were in!

The first thing we did was stop in city hall and buy tickets for MNSSHP. Then we were off down mainstreet!

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011152.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011153.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011154.jpg

We kept stopping to look for mickey ears, but I couldn't find any! They did have some good hats... but I needed ears!!

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011158.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011159.jpg

We headed to splash...

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011160.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011161.jpg

Splash was down! It felt too hot for thunder mountain so we went over to fantasyland.

I had my first and last ever ride on Snow White Scary Adventures.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011165.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011166.jpg

It was so busy, really long queues for everything.

So we tried Futureland. We went on buzz and Space Mountain.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011167.jpg

Then made our way back to splash...

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011168.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011169.jpg

Which was working! It was nearly time for our ressie at The plaza.

We were a early, the hostess gave us a buzzer and we grabbed a table outside.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011170.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011171.jpg

I watched the parade.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011172.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011173-Copy.jpg

How can anyone look so fed up in Magic Kingdom! A very hungry DBF.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011174.jpg

And then horror of horrors my camera died! Don't worry we took pictures of the food on Daniels camera. I had a minor breakdown, whilst my DBF tried to calm me down with promises of fixing it later.

What half a day at Magic Kingdom will do to you....

Before...

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/Holiday22011156-1.jpg

After...

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/DanielsBlackBerry081.jpg

We really needed fooooooood.

I ordered a cheeseburger.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/DanielsBlackBerry082.jpg

So yummy. This was a seriously good cheeseburger and I loved all the toppings on the side, so I could make it how I like it.

Daniel got the cheese steak, which he loved.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/DanielsBlackBerry083.jpg

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/DanielsBlackBerry084.jpg

This was the best brownie sundae I have ever had! So good. Good brownie texture, soft and fresh, with good quality vanilla ice cream.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/DanielsBlackBerry085.jpg

DBF got a banana split. I can't remember whether he liked it because I was so absorbed in my dessert!

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/DanielsBlackBerry086.jpg

Which I put a pretty good dent in before I admitted defeat.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/DanielsBlackBerry087.jpg

The Plaza is a definate hidden gem, it's so nice to get out of the heat and sit down for a while. That brownie sundae is heaven!!!

My poor camera haven given up I couldn't take anymore pictures. But I can tell you we went on space mountain and splash, and then we stopped to watched the electrical parade. And it was really, really busy! It was the busiest we've ever experience at Magic Kingdom, there was no where left to stand, but we did manage to squish in somehow.

Daniel took a couple video's on his blackberry, their not the best but bless him for trying.

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/th_DanielsBlackBerry089.jpg (http://s1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/?action=view&current=DanielsBlackBerry089.mp4)

And then we watched wishes, which was such a nightmare. It was sooo cramped. You'd get a spot and somebody would come and stand directly in front of you. But we still enjoyed wishes.

We made our way out of the park afterwards, and speant the next two hours... yes! That's right... two hours trying to get to the car park. We tried the boat first...

http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m539/Charlie_Stapleton/DanielsBlackBerry090.jpg

Then we tried the monorail. It was the longest queue I've ever seen. And it was the first time I've ever been mad at Disney, but I was really mad. You pay a lot of money to spend time in a Disney park, and it should never ever take you two hours to get back to your car! Ridiculous, no matter how busy it is, they should have systems in place for busy times. A boat and a monorail is not enough!!

I have no idea why it was soo busy, and I'm not sure exactly what day we went on, but there was a load of tour groups so maybe they tipped it over the edge.

But that's my only rant, and apart from that and my camera breaking we had an otherwise lovely day, and I would go back tomorrow! But we were excited for MNSSHP and the low crowds it would bring!

I'm so excited to go to Disneyland Paris and compare all the rides. It's no WDW but it's the best we can do at the moment. Hopefully it'll have the same magic.

Lol, there is one picture in there where a woman is looking at me taking a picture of her... and she doesn't look happy! I don't know how I didn't see her in it staring back at me at the time! It's a fetish of taking strangers pictures!

That brownie was the best ever! Your life is not complete untill you have had one!
