and discovered that JC Penney's left the ink security tag on them!!!!!!!!!!!

Grrrr, now I have to go back (which is 30 minutes away) and try to convince them I didn't steal them.

Yikes....have fun driving back....go visit the DISney store in the mall while you are there...great DVD sale going on I think.

You do have a point, this mall does have a Disney Store LOL. Although I got all my DVD's on the last sale, there is always something I can buy.

Ugh, that's more frustrating than when they forget to decode the electronic beeper and you buzz as you're leaving the store. Just don't try to take it off yourself... I've heard stories of people who did that when the store forgot to remove it and it was not pretty, LOL.

That has happened to us...three times... at JC Penney's. I now pad down the clothes before we leave.
Be sure to take your receipt. The first time was on a jacket for DN for christmas, they gave us the third degree, kept checking the receipt and asking questions.
The 2nd time wasn't quite as bad.
The 3rd time I couldn't find the receipt, once I realized the ink tag was still there, so i didn't bother taking them back
Our closest Penney's is an hour away. :rolleyes:

My daughter bought a pair of pants at Macy's at The Mall of America & we discovered the security was still attached after we were back in Michigan. There is no Macy's anywhere around here so we had to ship them back to Minnesota with the receipt & wait for them to be returned.

Just make sure you have the receipt and there won't be a problem, for some reason that happens to me a lot with JCPenney's too.

Wow Lars, I guess my 30 minute drive isn't so bad. The MOA is an hour from here, so Macy's wouldn't have been so bad for me either LOL. I always keep my receipts, so that's cool. I reallly wanted to wear them last night though LOL.
