It would have been Thom's and my 7th anniversary.

Maybe I am a day late and a dollar short but I thought you were dating Roger the Barber?
Who is Thom?
honeywolf7

Thom is my soon to be ex-husband. It's a lot easier because I have Roger, but I still wish I could have had one of those lifelong marriages.

Maybe, wouldn't it be better to end the first marriage before starting a second?

You sure do have alot of tough days. Maybe you can spend some time playing with your kids today. That always cheers me up. :)

Good suggestion, Toby's Friend.
I do think you should try and get together with your kids today, if at all possible, HW. I'm sure your visit could help cheer you up a bit today. Your marriage might have failed, but you still got two kids out of the deal, that alone is worth celebrating, right?
Good luck today.

Darn, I keep forgetting that hugs are allowed on the CB, not statements of the obvious.
I agree with Toby's Friend - why don't you spend some time with your children? Take them somewhere fun. That will probably cheer you up.

Not true, LM, we allow all sorts of stuff on the CB - even double posts! :teeth:
Glad you got some time to spend with your kiddos, HW.

I love going to school functions with my DD. She's so proud to show me all her work and introduce me to her friends. I hope you have a good time with your DS tonight at the Harvest Festival.

Only good wishes and thoughts for you today.
It is very difficult to end a marriage regardless of other involvement.
Enjoy the children, they are truly life's biggest blessing.

I was dating before my divorce was final too...I see nothing wrong with it.

Wow! Now where did I read, "Judge not, lest you be judged."
Think about that........
Bumbles

I did think about it. Here are my thoughts:
The correct phrase is
Judge not lest ye be judged.
Thanks for making my brain think!

Just trying to put it in simple terms for people to understand (kinda like the Living Bible does.....)

Simple terms for simple people? I'm not one for reading the bible so I don't know, nor do I care, what the right phrasing is.

Sorry.........just trying to diffuse a potential bomb from exploding. Didn't mean to get anyone riled up!

Geez, can we put an end to Episode 35,498 of As The Dis Turns, or do I have to lock this thread?
I'd really rather not, but this meowing has to stop. I lost interest on Episode 589.
