At the recent request for this recipe I decided I should post it here. It's my favorite dessert.

2 cups graham cracker crumbs
5 tbs butter (melted)
2 cups powdered sugar
2 eggs
1 stick butter (softened)
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 or 3 bananas
1 (15 oz.) can crushed pineapple (drained well)
1 container cool whip
chopped nuts
cherries

Combine graham cracker crumbs with melted butter to make crust. Press into pan. Beat sugar, eggs, softened butter and vanilla until thick and creamy, about 5 min. Spread mixture over crust. Slice bananas and put on top of mixture. Spread pinapple over bananas. Spread cool whip over pinapple. Top with nuts and cherries. Refrigerate until chilled.

Juli:

This is my DS' favorite and he has asked for it for his last 2 birthdays! I'll have to pull out my recipe and see if it is the same. I know the one I have calls to drizzle chocolate syrup over the top before serving. YUM! I could go for a piece right now..:)

Sounds yummy, but I want to be sure Im not missing something. Do you not cook this? Even with eggs in it?

No, you don't cook it. I should've said the eggs were optional. You don't have to use them but it doesn't come out quite the same.

The pie turned out yummy, but when I was mixing the eggs, sugar, etc..., it did not fluff up as stated! It was very runny, and there's no telling what happened! Oh well! Still good to eat!;)
