Though many people have complained, my DH and I enjoy the food that they serve at CRT for lunch and dinner. We try to go there for lunch or dinner during each trip. You will be reminded when you make the PS that the characters are only there at breakfast time.

We've had both lunch and dinner there, enjoyed both but would give the edge to lunch. BTW, last time I made PS for lunch (June, this year), PS were very hard to get. CM told me that lots of people who can't get into the character breakfast there are now just going ahead and booking another meal there.

This is our favorite place to eat at when visiting WDW. If you are lucky enough to get a PS time so you will be dining while the fireworks show is going on you will be amazed!

In April we had lunch there and Cindy and The Fairy GM were both there and availble for pics downstairs at her throne. Very nice surprise. We liked the food and just eating int he Castle for the first time was very exciting!! Service was great too!

We (DH, DD8 and DS3) had an excellent dinner there last May. We requested a window seat so we could see the fireworks. They asked us if we were willing to wait and we agreed, but it wasn't long (10 minutes). Cinderella made a surprise entrance and my children enjoyed sitting with her on her throne. The food was very good, maybe because we wasn't expecting it, but it was really good......and the view of the fireworks was spectacular. I don't believe you can go wrong with dinner at the Castle. One suggestion, relax after the fireworks...no need to hurry out in the crowd....plan your desserts for after the fireworks are over. We were never made to feel rushed and some folks were seated after the fireworks display.

We have ps for 4:45pm the night we are going to the MVMCP. Will they have fireworks before the park closes at 6pm? Do you ask for the window seat when you get there for your PS, or can you stop there earlier in the day and make that request? We wanted an early PS so we could get out into the park for the MVMCP.
Thanks for your help!

Our family has never had breakfast at the castle but we try to have either dinner or lunch each visit. The food is very good and the service is a lovely escape from the parks. The view is awesome from the restaurant both at night or during the afternoon. I hope you can make a visit while you are there.

You can request it when you check in, but keep in mind you might have to wait (could be up to 45 mins). If you want to try and dine during the fireworks try and make a PS for 30 mins before the fireworks time. This way the # of people requesting window tables will be smaller since most will come after you, and you have time to wait if they need you to wait!

My DH and I ate dinner there last year and loved it. Very romantic atmosphere. We had window table during fireworks and it was beautiful. Also they had the best fillet mignon Ive ever had.

misswit...When are you going to MVMCP? We are going on the 5th...and we also have a PS fpr 4:45 before the party at CRT. I almost didn't try to make them because I heard that only LLT was open for dinner. I'm glad I did now though!! Maybe we'll see you there!!

Hey Kelseymyra,
We will be at the MVMCP Dec. 5th. I am sure we will see you at dinner. If you get there first, reserve a window table for us, and we will do the same for your party if we get there first! I couldn't believe I got the reservation either. It will be me, DH, DD15 and DD7. It will be our first MVMCP, and we are psyched! The cards that are the tickets are so cool. I hope the party isn't to crowded. I also read they sometimes tape the Christmas parade Dec. 5th or 6th. Last year it was on the 5th (Walt's birthday).
