I am so sick and tired of stupid people making comments whil I am on my scooter! I have heard it all, believe me

From "hey, have you been to the Grand Canyon too with your huvaround?"

Give me a BREAK!!!!

It's a sccoter you idiot! I have it because I need it. No, I am not lazy I have Muscualr Dystrophy. (I swear I am going to get a t-shirt with this on it)

And yes you can have the scooter if I can have your legs!

I just had a rough day and heard so many comments I just get sick of it. Next time I am going to run over them!

Sorry for the vent, but please watch what you say when in the presence of handicapped people, believe it or not we face so much prejudice it is really annoying.

No, we can't run over them no matter how much we want to. And I have really wanted to run over a few. Of course, having a hearing loss makes it easier. I don't hear half of what they say.
And Eros even Republicans use these things and get the remarks. And I had from a few Democrats too.

So sorry people were so rude to you today. We all need to walk a mile in another person's shoes. I had the unfortuante situation to have to visit WDW a few years back while I had a cast on my foot/leg. I needed to stay off the foot and I used an EVC for the entire 10 day trip. It was quite an eye opening experience. The whole time I was wishing that I could walk just like everyone else. They don't know how easy they have it being able to walk and move around.
