All,

My wife and I are trying to recall whether Boma still has prime rib available as part of their buffet. For some reason I thought it was removed a while back, but I thought I would check with the experts here to get a confirmation. Any ideas?

might depend on the day of the week - not sure.

It depends on day of week. Not sure how you find out which day they will have it. I know soups are the same way.

I recall the soups rotating in the past but thought for some reason that the prime rib was a staple of the menu. Thank you for the heads-up! :thumbsup2

Sorry I don't think it is there.

I know many people report that Prime Rib is still on some of the buffets, but in actuality it has been replaced by a nice strip loin. IF the strip is prepared correctly it can look and taste close to prime rib. So I think that is where the confusion lies. This all took place with the last cuts Disney made to the menus over the last year or so.

Pretty sure the only place to get Prime Rib is actually at a few restaurants, like Boatswright, GF cafe, the steakhouse restaurants.

We ate there about 2 weeks ago and it's not Prime Rib.
The beef they use is a large carved piece like a prime rib. Very good.

My husband was diagnosed with tongue cancer earlier in the year and we've eaten there several times before treatment and once since ( he was afraid he'd not be able to eat or taste for a while so we went a lot! ) Anyway, they had Prime Rib once out of 6 visits since January.

Still good food and in our opinion much better than the quality of other buffets - Chef Mickey's just breaks my heart it's so bad compared to what it used to be :sad1:

Hope that helps! Enjoy your trip.
