Should we try to fit in any pin meets? Is there any interest in this and would anyone like to host a pin meet? Thanks! :teeth:

It's funny you asked the question, Barb! I just posted a question over on the Collector's Board asking for input and trying to gage interest in having a pin meet during DIS-CON II. Here is the link: DIS-CON Pin Meet (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=277682)
I would be glad to help sponsor a pin meet during the convention, as long as we can agree on a time and a place.
Any suggestions?

Saturday is pretty open right now. Also, there might be time on Wednesday to hold something. Patrick will be updating the itinerary tomorrow, so we should have a clearer picture of what time's might be available. Thanks for the input and thanks for volunteering. :)

I would be inteested in giving away some more "U.S.A." flag pins again, and going to some pin meets. I'm not much of a trader, but I like to look at all the pins...lol.

Okay, I've been looking at the schedule of meets already announced, trying to find a place to fit a pin meet. I have two ideas of times, but I'm not sure of locations. I will take any input I can get!
The first time I have come up with is 5 pm on Friday, or right after the Beaches & Cream meet. We could possibly meet in the lobby of the Yacht or Beach Club Resorts. The next best time would be at 9 am on Sunday, right after the farewell breakfast at the Swan, perhaps meeting somewhere in the lobby of the Swan.
Brian and others, how do these times and possible locations sound? I would be willing to donate some pins as 'door prizes.'

I would rather have this after or during the Beaches & Cream meet. If I remember correctly last year, there were some people who left right after the breakfast. I'll have pins with me in either case!

I'll be there. It's fun looking at all the pins that the castmembers have to trade. I'm looking to trade for one of those DVC USA flag pins.
