Plus it's the older Zx3 model which has better reviews and interchangeable battery unlike the Zx5!:thumbsup2

Just this week mailed my DS's Playsport for repair. The battery wouldn't recharge. From internet research it seems this is a fairly common problem. I don't know yet if they will repair or replace with a refurbished one. I paid $119 at Sams Club in December, and now $8.50 to mail it for repair.

Do you have the Zx3 or Zx5?? This is for the Zx3 which you can buy additional batteries for ;)

I think the Zx3. We bought another battery (at Best Buy for $42) and it didn't charge either. Contacted Kodak and they said to send it to repair.

That's a great price. I love our Kodak Playsport. Bought it at the end of last summer to take to the lake with us. We brought it to Disney this June and video taped fireworks at Epcot !! It's a great little camera and as the PP said, you can buy additional batteries, which is always a plus.
Forgot to mention that Amazon has it for $130..

I have been looking for a good underwater camera since I usually go with the disposable waterproof cameras and the photo quality is terrible. Can someone confirm this camera also takes still photos in addition to the video?

Love my Playsport! I paid $117 around Christmas. It takes great video and I have tested it in the ocean with success. The only concern I had was that if you don't take pics for a few minutes, it turns off(good) and when you turn it back on, it reverts to non-waterproof status(not good). I was just careful not to go too long between pictures. Here's one of the pics I took with the PS at the beach...
