We are not going on Dream this year but wanted to go to PC to see the boat go off on one of our days that we are free during our Disney holiday. We are looking to go on Dream in 2012.

Can anyone tell me if you can watch without having to pay anything like parking etc. We want to see the ship sail off, is this around 5.00 p.m.?

Thanks

You can't get near the terminal to watch but if you want to have a nice casual dinner and still see the ship leave you can go to Grill's or Fishlips...both on the channel where the ships pass around 5:15 or so. We have done Grill's several times and food is good. Have not tried Fishlips yet but many also enjoy that restaurant.

You can also go to Jetty Park which is a park at the end of the channel...it does have a nominal charge to get in but provides great viewing of the ship. They also have bathroom facilities.

Here is a pick we took of Jetty park when we were on the Dream....you are literally on a few yards away from the ship!!

And here is a link to pics of the Magic when I went to watch from Grill's....
