View Full Version : Should I wait for my Loews card to make ressies?

I am getting ready to make my ressies at either HRH or PBR. I applied for the loews card. Should I wait until I get my card to make my ressies? I applied about 2 weeks ago. Also, I am confussed as to what phone number to call.. Do you call the resort direct or loews? What is the difference? thanks..amy

I would make your reservations first -- it takes a couple of weeks to get your Loew's card in the mail. I don't think there's any reason you have to wait for your card before making ressies.

Don't wait ! When I called to get my Lowes card, they gave me the card #. If you don't have that, then call them back & get it ~ then call & make your reservations (I allways call the hotel direct) & let them know you are a Lowes first member & give them the card #. This will make sure it shows up in the hotel's computer & you don't miss out on any of the awesome "perks".
PS >> being anal as I am, I have called both the hotel direct AND Lowes for resevations ~ at the time, there was no difference in price. They gave me prices for Florida resident, and the Entertainment Discount. When I called the hotel directly, the prices were the same.

Thanks, I applied on line. Should I call loews number and get my loews membership number? Thanks. So I guess it is better to call the resort directly. Where can I find those phone numbers? thanks..amy

Here's the 800 number that I used for making my reservation:

And here are the phone numbers listed on the back of my Loew's card.
Reservations: 1-800-LOEWS-11
Loew's First Customer Service: 1-800-LOEWS-12
FAX: 1-800-LOEWS-14

And Seahag, thanks for the tip about calling reservations and telling them the Loews card number. I just did that and the reservation clerk put it in the computer so that I'll get my perks.

Covair - yes ! get the # so you can give it to whoever makes your reservation , that way, if you don't have your card by the time for your trip, at least you won't miss out on any of the benefits (my card took more like 3 weeks to arrive)

3reds - No problem ! I'm happy to help, & glad some of the things I know can be useful (I'll have to show this to my husband !)
