Just a quick question! Can you get ice for water that we will be bringing from resort to parks without paying 1 or 2 dollars??? Not sure how to keep our water cold. Leaving in the morning!!! Yea.

I'm not aware of any self serve ice locations.....but I bet that if you just wanted a reasonable amount...I'd approach any of the fast food/counter service people and just ask for a cup of ice....I'd be shocked if you didn't get it without charge. I would also make sure I asked nicely & tried to catch them in a quieter moment (ie-not when they're swamped ). Have a great trip!:) :)

I'm not sure I'm following these posts correctly. Is there ice available for your hotel room, like all other major hotel chains. For instance, if we have a cooler in our room at the All Stars, can we get ice to refresh it or to put in our drinks in our rooms?

I'm sure the resorts have ice but we are staying conceige. They have water we can take to the parks but I have figure out a way (or not) to keep it cold. A cooler is not an option. We will be using a backpack. Oh well we will have fun warm water or not.

Freeze your bottles of water
I do this and take them to work all the time. They slowly melt throughout the day and you always have cold water. You can of course make them melt a little faster by running water on them or shaking them. How to get them frozen? I plan on freezing mine at home before I leave, then packing them in a cooler of ice. They should stay frozen as long as you keep them on ice.

You can get a free cup of ice, water or ice water any food service counter (not the carts) at any WDW park. You don't even have to bring the bottled water with you.

WHEN WE WENT IN 1996 WE HAD A SMALL CHILD - WHEN IN DISNEY (OR ANY OTHER THEME PARK FOR THAT MATTER) IF WE WANTED ICE FOR WATER OR EVEN A CUP OF COLD WATER WE JUST WENT INTO THE STORES OR STALLS (AT THE SIDE OF THE ROAD) AND TOLD THEM WE HAD A SMALL CHILD (EVEN THOUGH THE BABY WASNT WITH US) AND ASKED FOR SOME COLD WATER THAT EVERYONE ELSE HADNT DRUNK (MOUTHS AROUND THE FOUNTAINS DIDNT APPEAL) AND THEY WOULD PUT US A CUP FULL OF ICE IN A CUP. NO QUESTIONS AND WE WOULD USE THIS TO DRINK OR FOR A BABY'S JUICE BOTTLE
