OK, I didn't actually "run" there--but I should have because they are carrying.......
TASTYKAKES !!
I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw the display and said (aloud) Ohh! Tastykakes! Some lady looked at me like I'd lost it.
I only bought butterscotch krimpets. Not because they are so very delicious, but because they are so sentimental to me!
I immediately thought of CindyB who has offered to send some to me many times. :) (I shouldn't eat'em cause they are fattening, I think. ;) )

Browneyes, did you HAVE to ask that? No, I don't think they are actually. I think it is just very sentimental for me. Little Debbies are really good... see, I'm even wearing some. ;)

ImHO -- Tastykakes are a million times better than Little Debbies! Little Debbies taste kinda waxey. Tasty Kakes don't have that waxey taste to them. I sent a case to Will when he was working in Mississippi last month. He really like the butterscotch krimpets! :teeth: I only like the chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting. I used to have Tasty Kakes in my lunch all the time when I was kid. :)
Enjoy Buckalew!

The Little Debbie Ootlewah plant is about an hour from where I live. I usually buy Little Debbie's because I know they're pretty fresh. I think we're all wearing a little bit of them.:teeth:
what are they??

I'm telling ya, beauty, I had to swear off Peach Tea. It was really hard too. But that artificial sweetner was killing me! (Aspertane (sp??) I think)
Saffron, WillyJ and I can toast at the computer screens with our krimpets! LOL
There is another kind that they sell up there that they don't here either. Hmm... I can't remember their name though.
When I was little they made those chocolate round cakes that were iced all over with dark chocolate & creme in the middle and they used to be wrapped in tin foil. Do you remember those. I know they don't wrap them in foil anymore. :(

I feel so weird saying these names -- were they Tandy Takes? LOL!! They're round, kind of flat, come three in a package? Chocoate with either cream or peanut butter? If so, Will likes those too! LOL!!! :p

No. I LOVE Tandykakes! I like the peanut butter ones. I looked for them tonight but they didn't have them. :( Maybe next time.
These are not Tastykake brand. It is another name brand from up there.

And Clutter must be right about the donuts! I ran into the store Monday morning before school and grabbed two boxes of the powdered donuts. The kids devoured them!! :p
