Mark The Mickey Mouse is AWESOME! What a wonderful idea. I love the night photo. I bet you get lots of night visitors.

I'm think my yard is boring after seeing this I need a mouse something.

Thanks Amid!

It really looks great Mark! :)

What kind of lights did you use? Are they those rope lights?

Yes, Kim, the lighting is rope lighting. We found it at Target for $9.99 for 18 feet. The sections can be connected very easily and it took three sections to do the berm. Actually three sections is too much and there is overlap from one ear, across the top of the head and partially around the other ear (three sections=54 feet, actual length needed is 41 feet, 3 inches). I've located a company that will cut it to length in 18 inch increments and am in the process of ordering the red and green for Christmas. I first tried the rope lighting last Christmas when I did a Mickey head using a hula hoop and some wire. Found 24 feet sections of rope lighting then and used one section per head (I did a clear or white head and a red one).

Of course, when folks see the night time berm shot for the first time, I tell them that the lights are actually those tea light candles -

That is just too cool! You have to send some pictures to the Disney Magazine - I bet they will use them!!!! What a clever idea!

Excellent idea! Really neat to see. Has me thinking about our yard and where we could create a Mickey. Our kids would love it...especially with the lights. What a cool idea!
