View Full Version : Where do I begin to look into WDW timeshare?

I know that when we were in Disney Jay and Kelli were talking about a sight that explained everything and also a sight for re-sale timeshares. Where are these sights? We have decided to look into them and I have no idea where to start.

You will probably get good info on the DVC board. We own BCV and BWV and love it. We also own at Vistana and it is a terrific resort. My DH ofter visits a timeshare user site which is loaded with info and if you want I can ask him the site.

Yes please ask him! I want to look into everything from new DVCs like Beach Club and resales from Old Key West...just research until I know everything!!!

We figured that since we go to Disney at least twice a year that this would really be a good thing to look into! Any information will help!

Just beware! We owned and loved Vistana for many years. We bought 200 pts at Boardwalk a few years ago and as soon as the papers were signed we added 25 more points. When our guide called us about BCV we bought 225. See what I'm getting at? I am now addicted to DVC. I love it. I love the resorts and the flexibility. I agree with everyone, first start here on the DVC board and on Disney's official site. The Timeshare Store (there's a link on the DVC board) is highly recommended for re-sales.

We are not disappointed since we bought, and would love to add on, but not right now.

:o I am getting interested in this too, seeing DH does NOT want to MOVE to Orlando Area!:rolleyes: So, next best thing is Time Share!;)

It really is an awesome thing!!!! Just wish we'd get daily towel changes in the studios but oh well!!! :D

Lots of info on timeshares in general.

That being said, we just bought 210 points at BCV and I want to get another 200 at least at OKW. But not till after I pay for having my windows and carpeting replaced:(

It can be VERY addictive. I keep hoping that I win the lottery soon...not to pay my bills (well I would pay some of them)...but I want more points.
