View Full Version : Can I use my room charge at the House of Blues?

DH really wants to eat at the House of Blues on our next trip. We checked out their website to see their menu and look at some pictures of the place. The food and the atmosphere look great! I was just wondering if we would be able to use our WDW room charge to pay for our mean there. Does anybody know?

Another question - We were planning to go on a Friday evening in early December. How early do you think we should plan on eating to avoid a long wait? I know they don't take reservations or anything.

HOB is a chain - it's not owned or operated by Disney. You will not be able to charge your meal or purchases to your room.

Can't help with your question about the wait as I don't remember how long we waited or what day of the week we dined :o. They did give us a "pager", though. It didn't have much of a range so we had to stay just outside the restaurant. (Couldn't go into any of the West Side shops).

We did enjoy our dinner. Hope you do, too!

We just ate at the House of Blues last Friday night and were able to use our WDW room charge for the meal. We were in a bit of a panic when we realized we didn't have much cash on us, but when we asked about the room charge, she took it no problem. Also, we ate on a Friday night around 6:00 and were seated right away. The restaurant was not full at all. I think it depends on what month it is - we went during a very slow time.

The reason I was wondering is that we have eaten at the Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney several times (which is also a non-Disney owned chain) and we have always been able to use our room charge there.

GEM - when you go to HOB, get the salmon dish - it was EXCELLENT! I couldn't decide what to get so I just asked our waitress for her recommendation & that's what she recommended. And I'm so glad I went with her suggestion because I'm still thinking about that shrimp & eggplant stuffing that it came with! I don't normally like stuffing either :)
