Thoughts on Rosen Plaza Hotel please

another hotel question - anyone stayed here, looks lovely but worried about the business atmosphere.

I stayed in this hotel last year and really enjoyed it. Clean, large rooms, good pool and a useful little shop to buy snacks. It was also handy for pointe orlando or sizzler. However, one bad point was the conference traffic, there was around 500 teenagers in the hotel with us on a bible conference. I did not really enjoy recorders being played outside my room at 2am or a queue for the lift of 20 mins. Hotel staff could not really do anything as the kids were on every floor and there was no where else to put us. As soon as they left however it was very nice.

Did look nice in the brochure and not a bad price, what time of year did you go????? Did not like the sound of all those kids:rolleyes:

we have not stayed at this hotel our selves but in the year 2000 we went to orlando in sept and we became freindly with some people from the uk that were staying at this hotel

and they told us that it was a very nice hotel with good facilities and very nice rooms and service but the one down side to it was the convention center

at the time that they were there a big shoe convention was being held at the convention center and they said if you wernt wearing a suit and a badge saying your name and shoe sales person of the year then you fellt as though you should not be there it got to the stage where they would spend all there time away from the hotel because they did not want to sit in the bar and listen to talk about shoe sales alll night

sorry but I am sure this is not what you wanted to here but I am sure if you spent as much time in this hotel as we normally do on an average orlando vacation then I am sure it would be very nice
