since my DH will NOT take a bus, we rented a car for our trip:confused3..(maybe it has something to do with his grocery stops for bottles of wine and his bottled Miller lights, lol..much cheaper than paying for drinks at the pool!!)

Is there convenient parking or is it just Valet? Valet charges, correct?
:confused3

Both resorts have self-parking lots in front of the resorts; you don't have to valet.

Valet is available at both resorts . I believe the cost is $12 per day plus tip.

Self parking at BCV is much more convenient than at BWV.

Oh, yes. BWV has terrible self parking. You might even wind up across the street.

If you are taking stuff to the pool, make sure it is plastic or cardboard box or aluminum and not glass. No glass at the pool.

Oh, yes. BWV has terrible self parking. You might even wind up across the street. That should never happen for BWI/BWV guests and if it ever did I would ask for free valet parking, because no one staying there should have to park across the street.

Then you haven't been there many times. It happens all the time.

Then you haven't been there many times. It happens all the time.Well during our two stays at the BWI we have always been able to park in their main lot, although there has been one or two times when we needed to drive around until we found a spot. However if there wasn't then we would ask for free valet parking because like I just said no one staying there should be forced to park across the street behind the Hess station and I am sure everyone else would agree with me.

Since parking at the BW is so hard at times - sorry but I won't be driving around a parking lot on my vacation time looking for a spot. It is for that reason that we valet. Don't have to worry about a spot and the car is nice and cool when we get in. My theory is I have to park the car and walk every day other than vacation so I will splurge for the valet.
