I just read on another thread that renovations have begun on the BC. When will they be complete? How do they do it -- one floor at a time? My husband and I are going the 21st of October, and I'm hoping that there will be little or no noise. If anyone has been there, please share! Thanks, Michele

I would also like to know since I am staying there in 3 weeks. Maybe I will just call them and see what they say.....

Ok, here is the skinny according to the front desk person named Beth:

They are working on the inside of the hotel only, upgrading and renovating the rooms.

They only work from 9am to 5pm.

They do not rent out rooms around, above, or below rooms that are being worked on.

According to her, they stick to different wings as they work and we should hardly notice any work is being done at all.

I would still like to hear from sombody who has just returned though to see if what Beth sez is the truth :rolleyes:

Thanks for taking the extra step and calling Montana Disney Fan. I was thinking of doing the same thing this morning when I saw you beat me to the punch!

Hopefully Beth's assessment is right on. However, would still love to hear from someone who has just returned.

Do you have the phone # for BC? I would actually like to call and find out what time Storm Along Bay closes in December-I've heard it closes very early.

I was at the YC in August when that was being renovated and there wasn't any noise and I didn't see any renovations inside the hotel. So those areas are definitely closed off.

There were renovations going on outside though.

I just got back from the Beach Club. There were a few small projects going on outside-nothing that made lots of noise. Inside I saw a few people painting and fixing wallpaper in the hallways, but again, it was not intrusive.

Have a blast! We loved the Beach Club!

Does this mean that YC renovations are complete?? I haven't been on the boards for a while and haven't seen any updates.:confused:
