Hi,
We are planning our trip in late October and want to spread it out over two weeks. Anybody know of great timeshare deals where you get reasonable prices on the rooms and discounted tickets for Universal? Any help would be great.
Thanks

I got a call yesterday from Starwood regarding a time share deal for Sheraton's Vistana Village on South International Drive. I didn't buy it, but if I remember correctly, the deal included 4 nights in a villa and 2 free tickets to Universal for around $199. Try joining Starwood's frequent guest program and you may get a call.
Hop around on the net and look for web sites for time share resorts. If they have a page where you can request information, fill it out. I ended up getting 4 nights in a 1 bedroom at Summer Bay for only $99 this way.

Last year we stayed at Summer Bay Resort with a timeshare deal. It was $189 for 3 nites and 2 tix to Univeral. For some reason, we also got a free family pass to Water Mania. The girl who gave us our tix at the timeshare was surprised we had gotten both. At the resort, we stayed in a 1 bedroom condo which looked brand new. There is also an older section, the villas. We didn't stay in these so I don't know what they're like. Its location is west of Disney. (The construction was bad.)

I've seen some good rates for Westgate Lakes, Caribe Royal, Vistanna Resorts, Vistanna Villages at www.hotelkingdom.com

I've never been to Westgate Lakes, but I've heard that their timeshare presentations are brutal!

Try Florida Vacation Station (http://www.floridavacationstation.com) . Used them a couple years ago with no problem. Got a quick, cheap vacation. Of course I was willing to sacrifice the tour times.

Westgate Lakes tour wasn't that bad.
Just keep saying 'no' and you'll do fine.

We actually have one week that has to be used by Jan. 2002. It was originally at
Orange Lake but we spacebanked it with RCI and haven't used it. So you could use it in
October and for any resort you want. If you're looking for two weeks, I'd have to check
our weeks to see if we have another one that we're not using. If you are interested,
email me incometax@on.aibn.com and we could talk more.
