Just got back from the Essex meet!

Well I reckon that was another successful Essex meet at The King's Head in North Weald :). It was nice to meet up with DIS friends old and new. I left a little earlier than I wanted to as 'youngest Herbert' was starting to get a bit noisy and fidgety.

Penny was already into the Bacardi and Coke when I arrived at about 12.45 and was doing her best to empty the bottle when I left ;);)

Shaun was outdone by Matt in the shirt department but sunglasses were still required nevertheless ;)

There were certainly lots of interesting conversations, laughter and photo's being taken - I look forward to seeing a few pics.

I promise to pull my finger out and post some pics of our trip to Tokyo Disneyland or at least bring them to to the next meet.

Sorry I didn't get chance to speak to everyone.

I think our conversation consisted of "Hello", "What! He broke his arm again?", and "Goodbye", LOL.

It was great seeing you all again and meeting Lenny and his DW for the first time :) I really hope we didn't frighten you away Lenny and Leanda ( is that the correct spelling?).

I'm not so sure about letting Penny loose with a camera at these meets though ;)

You certainly didn't scare us off! It was great meeting some of you at last & putting faces to names. I know we were both a bit quiet, but was a bit daunting, but everyone was really nice & welcomed us. We'll make up for it next time! Actually, it was quite nice for me to have Leanda quiet, normally she doesn't shut up!

PS Leanda is still in shock!! Thats the first time anyones ever spelt her name right!!

PPS Maybe if our plans work out we'll meet some more of you in WDW next year!!!

It is daunting when you first come to a meet Lenny - I think we all remember our first time!! I found it quite nerve-racking!
Look forward to meeting you both again sometime :)
