y'all make it through the storm?


just spoke to a business associate in New orleans. she said the flooding was awful, and she couldn't get into the office for a couple of days, and had no electricity at home. but she's fine now.

All my friends on the northshore got by fine, although I did see on tv a neighborhood near my old one that was badly flooded due to a levee break. Haven't heard from the friend in the city... hope her 3 big dogs didn't have to swim for it! Somehow, pets don't usually get offered a seat in the pirogue.
