Does it matter what software you use to tag your photos? That is, are photo tags "universal" to the saved image?
I already have several options for tagging my photos: ZoomBrowser, Windows 7, etc...
Will tags made with one method be visible to the others?

I can only speak on what I've personally seen. But when I tag my photos in Lightroom, I've seen them successfully displayed when i post those pictures to Flickr or Facebook. But those are also the only places I really post pictures to where tags are involved.

If it's saving the tags in the metadata it will stick with the file.

Yeah, that's what I'm getting at ... how do I know where it's saving the tags?
So far, I've verified that tags I add through Windows 7/Windows Live Photo Gallery are NOT visible to ZoomBrowser. :sad2:

Are you doing any Exporting or other form of saving the file AFTER include the tags??? For instance, when you open up a picture in Windows 7, then add tags to it; what's your next step??? I'm thinking that you might have to do some type of Export/Save to get those tags really attached to the file.
