Signing up for select events?

Is there a way to sign up for an event or 2 without participating in all the events? My husband and I will be down during the DIS con dates (I think could someone tell me the exact dates) but we really would only like to partipate in an event or 2. Can someone also tell me about the weekend option? Maybe this would work for us. (What are the dates on that?)

The dates are the 4th to the 8th. You can not sign up for individual events, but cqan do the weekend convention events for $125 per person. Hope that helps.

Thanks that is helpful, unfortunately we leave on the 6th so I don't think it will work out but maybe I can join in on a DIS meet!
