Anyone know of the best rate and closest hotel to UO for Oct. 3-5? Also what is the best tix deal for out of state visitors? Taco Bell discount coupon for off-peak-Oct. 4?

I can't wait for HHN at IOA.
I worked HHN for 9 years while a UO employee, so if anyone has any ?'s let me know.

You can do the stay and scream discount. An AP gives the deepest discounts. The Coke label is mainly for Florida and Georgia residents.

For the hotel problem, take a look at http://www.hotels.com as it is a very useful site in comparing area hotels.

You can try priceline and bid on a 3* hotel for $25/night. I tried that and they gave me the Wyndham Orlando only 5 minutes away from the park. Great hotel...nice and clean.

I booked the Best Western Universal. $49 a night. It's an advance booking special. I know it's a brand new hotel, I watched it being built. The rack rate there is about $20 more a night, so I feel good about my rate. $25 a night though is not bad for a 3* hotel. Thanks for the info. I've never done priceline.com.
