will my gear fit?

I was thinking about getting a lowepro passport slingshot and i was wondering, after reading some reveiws on B&H photo, if my gear will fit....

So, wondering since this board seems to suggest this bag a lot, i thought i would list my gear and see if you guys think this bag will work.

I have:
50D
Tamron 28-75 f2.8 (i will keep on the camera)
canon 430ex flash(i thought about taking)

My camera is not gripped. But wondering with my lens choice, if the camera will fit well in the bag witout having to take the lens off.

what is your advice?

I use Lowepro products, but I had never seen that particular bag. According to the specifications posted by Lowepro, it will carry a DSLR with attached lens and an additional lens or external flash. I'm sure you will be fine. The 28-75 isn't like a 70-200!

that is what i was thinking. i was reading reviews and it got me worried because a couple of them mentioned the bag not of good size to carry the camera body with lens attached. i know my lens is no crazy telephoto, but i know its longer then a kit lens so i a little worred. :)
