View Full Version : Cheerleaders/dancers --- when?

Does anyone know when the cheerleading/dance competitions are scheduled for next year. It seems like one of these are always going on during our Feb. trips. It usually is not a big problem but I try to avoid MGM on the days they are there.

They are there January through March. One competition is UDA. Here is a link to their competition dates:

My luck one comp ends right before we get there and one starts before we leave. If I remember they don't usually stay at the deluxes and MGM seems to be the park of choice. I will try to schedule accordingly.

They usually stay at the All Stars and they don't compete at MGM anymore. They compete in the Sports Complex.

I don't know if this has changed but our dance competition was always the beginning of March at MK. We always stayed at asMusic. There were also many other sports tournaments going on around the same time.

We will be there 03/14 thru 03/17 for the UCA All Star Cheerleading Competition. We stayed at the ASMu last year. We competed at MGM on Saturday on the Indiana Jones stage and at the Sports complex on Sunday.

My niece will be with a large group of cheerleaders the week between xmas and new years, they are participating in the Citrus Bowl. They are staying at the ***.

Thanks for all the info. We have never had a problem with any of the sports groups. I just notice longer lines at MGM.

We ran into cheerleaders on a couple of trips in mid January. I remember once trying to get into the lockers at MGM, No Way! I went back to the counter and told them I could not get in due to the cheerleaders and the CM gave a full refund of the locker fee + deposit.
