PS at R&C for Illuminations

Hi all! I'm new to this board, I've been reading for a couple of weeks, but just signed up to post.

We'll be at Disney 10/23-10/28 staying at BCVs. We'd like to TRY to watch Illuminations from R&C's patio. What time do all of you experts recommend we schedule our PS? I know we'll have to ask nicely to be seated outside and it isn't guarenteed, but I'd love to give it a shot.

PS for R&C (as all Epcot restaurants) are accepted 120 days in advance. Try for 7:20 - 7:40 but don't be surprised if those times (and anything close) are gone. The past 2 years we've gotten perfect seats at the R&C for Illuminations but both times I called at 7:00 a.m. exactly 120 days out.

If you can't get reservations, always check when you arrrive, many times people cancel. Also, make sure you arrive about 1/2 hour before your reservation time and let them know that you will wait for an outside table. Good luck and have a great trip.

Just got PS for the night we wanted for 7:30 - thanks a bunch for your help!

I've read on a previous post, that they won't let you wait for an outside table, you have to take whichever one comes up.
How true this is I don't know :confused:
