ChiSoxKeith will be taking over administration of the weekly photo contest starting immediately.

It's been a fun couple of years but due to some additional volunteer commitments, I cant devote the time needed to keep it running the way it should.

For now there are no changes planned in the rules, schedule of upcoming contests and the general running of things. The only difference will be that the flurry of posts will come from ChiSoxKeith on Sunday night or Monday morning rather than me. Please be patient with ChiSoxKeith things get handed over.

Thanks also to the other editors who expressed interest in taking over. I'm impressed with the eagerness to help make this board a place worth visting again and again.

rtphokie - Thanks for doing a great job running the contest. I thought the weekly photo contests were exceptionally well run and you always managed to get everything out according to schedule. Good luck with your new volunteer commitments!

Thank you for running the contest, rtphokie! I haven't entered the contests for a long time since our last trip to WDW was in 2007:sad1:, but I always enjoyed seeing the entries every week. I'm sure it was a lot of work on your part.

Good luck with your volunteer endeavors!

Thank you so much for your work. These contests are my highlight of the DIS boards. I just wished I could take great pictures like these.

Not sure. I don't know many people in Atlanta but it's not out of the question.

OMG! I really thought I knew who you were! :rotfl: My step brother's name is Keith, he lives in Elgin, loves the White Sox, is active on these boards (although I don't remember his user name), LOVES Disney and is a (great) hobby photographer. What are the odds???

I guess I could have looked at the dates on your flickr album and seen that it wasn't him - he didn't go last December. Also, he's been a member longer than a year. I think I heard about this website from him. Sorry for the confusion!!

Thanks for the job you did on the contest. I never entered because I never felt my best images strictly met the guidelines, but I always enjoyed looking at the entries submitted.

Unless they are massive, heavily photoshopped images with borders taken when you jumped out of the small world boat, you shouldn't hesitate to enter.
