WTB/WTS Threads Allowed?

Simply what the title asks. Are we allowed to post "Want to Buy" and/or "Want to Sell" here? I can't find a specific ruling on it.

If we're not, it sure would be nice, even if you established a minimum membership time or a minimum number of posts. The Photography forum is becoming even more popular and it would be a great way for us to trade, buy and sell to people we know better than the average Joes over on eBay.

For example, I'm really looking a lens (intentionally not disclosing too much because I don't know what the rules are yet) and I'd be willing to bet there's someone here probably looking to part with exactly the one I'm looking and they probably don't want to deal with eBay either. See the opportunity?

I am about 99.9% sure that it violates Disboards rules, so there is not much of a chance for it here.

If you are looking for advice on what to buy, that's fine. If you are looking to buy from someone on the board or someone is looking to sell their equipment, thats not appropriate.

There are many other places on the net for that.
