Anyone heard of Spark Energy

Wondering if this is a scam. Supposedly supposed to save me money on my natural gas. Billing would still come through PG&E but Spark is actually supplying the gas.

$4.95 monthly service charge.

Its not a scam, call PG&E and they will explain it. You may save money but I dont like the sound of a service fee...

There are many companies out there that do that. Never heard of Spark, but that doesn't mean anything. We did that a long time ago in NYS and it saved us quite a bit if I recall. We get frequent notices on that from our current electric/gas supplier and their partners, but we just haven't looked into it again.

It sounds good, it's just hard to know if you are getting scammed and you don't figure it out until it's too late.
