castaway cay club

DH,DW,DD,DSIL have sailed before on DCL. We are now a member of the Castaway Cay Club but are informed that we only get 1 towel for the room as a souviner. I really don't think this is right, we have called the main number for the club and they did confirm that yes, you only get 1 towel. What am I suppose to do with the other child sailing with us? HELP!!!:confused:

Unfortunately, that's the way it has always worked, one gift per STATEROOM for Castaway Club members.

You can always purchase a beach towel for the other child, they have a nice selection on the ship and at Castaway Cay. :)

We have three kids and they just have to learn that this is the rule!!!! We had two cabins this past sailing so we got two towels. We thought we lost one on deck one day and I asked at G.S. about a replacement and they said nope...they can't replace any lost CC club gifts.

In the past we only received one duffle, tote, etc.

If your other child really wants a beach towel.....you may have to pick one up in the shop. Here is a link to some of the styles onboard.

or dad...I have two kids and with one CC gift they don't even ask. When we received the first pin they knew I was pin trading and DS said, well I guess mom made the reservations so it must be hers! Sometimes he is such a smart boy!:smooth:

Donna, anyone who has cruised DCL at least once is automatically a member. :)

You automatically becaome a member after your 1st Disney Cruise. We received our membership card about 3 months after our December 2001 cruise. I have seen some posts that some people have not received their cards but DCL does keep a record of your cruise. Your TA or you can call DCL for your CC membership number anytime after your 1st cruise.

What is Disney currently giving as Castaway Club gifts for returning cruisers? Last year we received a small duffel bag.

The blue towel is no longer available. I tried to get one for someone who cruised earlier in the year and lost theirs when we cruised in August but we were told that they don't carry that style anymore.
