We are all set to cruise this July and DH is already thinking about our next cruise. Where can we get a better price..on board the ship or now through Dreams?? We planned the past 2 trips with Dreams and LOVED what they did for us. But DH thinks maybe there were some deals if you booked on the ship using the Castaway Club discount and travleled in some window of time they give you?? Any info???Thanks in advance!!

Hi D and Ls Mom! If you book on the ship you can actually book through Dreams too. :) Just tell them when making the reservation you want to use Dreams as the TA. Or if you prefer, you can transfer the cruise to Dreams after you return home. Either way you would get the Dreams rebate.
There are no discounts for booking onboard but that is the only way you can get the Castaway Club shipboard credit now.
Hope that helps! :)

Thank you so much for the info. I am relieved as I didnt want to give up DREAMS as a TA. We have planned 2 vacations with them and both have been WONDERFUL. Thanks again for the info.!

I don't know if it would just apply to my circumstance or not, we go during school vacation time. We saved quite a bit more with early booking rather than waiting to book onboard. For example, on 8/21/02, I booked our 2004 cruise with Dreams, their quote is the same price as the quote I got online on the DCL website. I checked the same cruise a month later online and it had already gone up $320.00! Now that in itself more than pays for not getting the onboard credit! Plus I still have the Dreams rebate. Should I have waited till our 2003 cruise to book the 2004 you can imagine how much more the booking price would be. (our 2003 has gone up $835.00 since we booked it) :smooth:
