It was a cloudy, rainy day here

in Chicago today.

So here is what I did:

Crocheted a few rows of an afghan I am making (thanks to a fellow DISer who got me back into crocheting), put dried herbs in jars, blanched tomatoes from the garden, chopped them and will freeze them for sauce, chopped different types of peppers to freeze fro chili this winter, baked oatmeal-raisen cookies, cut more herbs to dry, took a nap, went and got my hair cut, making sauce, meatballs and salad for dinner (with garlic cheese bread).

This is vacation??!!

Still is cloudy and rainy here today! DH and I are just being lazy! At least you are industrious!!!!;)

How rude of mother nature, it should NOT rain when you're on vacation, Marilyn.;)

It rained some last night, but we got a gully washer of a storm this morning!

I tried to crochet once. One winter my mom made me learn how to make little stockings for Christmas. It was kinda fun, but I have no idea how to do that now.:o

Dinner came out great Shannon. :D I haven't crocheted in over 10 years...if I can get back into it, you can too. Go for it girl.
