Well, usually we pack all 4 of us into 2 large suitcases but that just isn't gonna happen this time. We're only going on a 4 day cruise plus a day at KSC (total 5 days) but boy it's like packing for 10 days. We need clothes for dinner every night plus play clothes for during the day.

Anyway, the point of my post is I was wondering how much dresser space we have in the stateroom (Cat 5). Will we have room to unpack or do we have to live out of the suitcases?

Oh, and while I'm asking questions....how much cash for the 4 day. I know I need ones for tips and no other money on the ship. We aren't really shoppers but most places in the ports would take a credit card right? I'm assuming we need cash for hair braiders if we do that. Would just a couple of hundred do it? We're putting the tips on the charge.

Thanks for answering all the questions!

Sonya, some words of advice: put away at least ONE-THIRD of what you think you will need, I swear to you you will not use it.

We can pack three of us for a SEVEN-NIGHT cruise plus 4-5 nights at WDW in two suitcases and a carry-on bag.

You really only need a couple pairs of shorts for the day, a couple of bathing suits, a few tops and dresses, pants or skirts for dinner.

Guys have it even easier, they could easily just take 1-2 pairs of nice pants and switch off shirts for dinner. Throw in a sport coat for Palo or Triton's.

You do have room to unpack, there are dresser drawers and a bureau.

A couple of hundred bucks is PLENTY in cash. Be sure to have plenty of ones.

Have FUN!!! :sunny:

But Michelle,
I hardly brought anything!

DS and DH each have 2 pairs of slacks and 4 dress shirts. DD and I each have 3 dresses and 1 pair of capris with blouse. Other than that, it's just shorts, T-shirts, bathing suits, shoes and toiletries. We really are not big packers and we ALWAYS manage to pack our family of 4 into 2 suitcases, no carryons. This time, I ended up with 2 large (and I mean LARGE) suitcases, 1 kids wheeled suitcase and 1 carryon day bag. The kids case contains everybody's underwear, socks and bathing suits. If something happens to that 1 bag, we'll really be in a mess!

Anyway, I don't know how it happened but we needed more room this time.

Thanks for the input on the cash. I can't imagine spending it at all except for room service, porters, and hair braiding. The shops do take credit cards in the Bahamas and Freeport right?
