Getting ready for a trip to Europe and I'm figuring I need a better neck strap for my slr. Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Crumpler industry disgrace - best $30 I've ever spent in this hobby...especially considering what you can get for $30 in photography!

Thanks for the quick replies! I have an Olympus 510, and I'm still using the strap that came with it. It's been tough on my neck, so I've decided I need to get something better, and one I can wear all day if necessary.

Another vote for the Industry Disgrace here. We've got one for each of our camera bodies, makes wearing your camera all day a breeze.

I love my Industry Disgrace. And I love the name of it too. I kinda wish people would ask me in person what kind of strap it is. Then I could see the look on their face when they think I'm lying. ;)

I also have this, but got the longer straps so I can wear it across my chest. It is very comfortable that way and I only have to take it off to get a shot maybe 1% of the time.

I have thought the same - but I need a camera strap that is going to help get so much of the weight off my neck.
I had a minor neck injury several years ago, and if I carry my SLR though the parks all day I end up with really bad neck pain and or a migraine.
I've looked at the harnesses, but they are a little bit of overkill - and I really think they would be really hot to wear, and would cause me to have horrible sweat marks. HAHA :confused3

Anyone have any suggestions for a strap that will get the weight of my neck or distribute the weight a little more evenly across my neck?

Thanks! :goodvibes

have you looked at the OpTech system.I like it because I can switch back and forth from the strap which is comfortable for me.But I like the harness because it takes the weight off my neck and I don't get sweat marks from the harness
