This is for all you DIS teens out there from a very excited DIS mom! When did your parents tell you about the trip and when did you become excited about it? We told our kids ( 13 and 17 ) when we first started planning it a year ago. My daughter says she refuses to get excited until the day we leave. Son says something about it every once in a while. He recently went to a local carnival and rode almost all the rides which he has NEVER done, cuz he gets sick! He said he wanted to get prepared for Disney! Is it too much of a non-reality right now? We leave 30 days from today. Thanks for your input!

Have lots of fun. My mom told me back in Dec. when she first bought tickets. We're not going till Nov. But every one in my family has been counting days since Dec.:earseek:

Lucky! These boards make me excited to go to WDW everyday, even though we are going in December! I go there a lot, more than all the kids at my school and will never stop appreciating every trip we take to WDW. I love WDW too much! :earsgirl:

PS- Have a FANTASTIC or should I say fantasmic time at WDW, and carnivals are good ways to prepare for WDW but not nearly as good obviously :D  :sunny: :earsgirl:

My parents have never done a surprise trip...i never find out..i just assume we are going. We dont go back until 2002 :( b/c we are buying a new house this year but I am exciting right now. THe boards help me keep my sanity(and my vast trivia knowledge) going and keep me from getting to crazy. I am at the point that I cant stand Six Flags anymore(its too dirty and they dont have Mickey!!!) SO we didnt bother with Season passes...also we only really went to WaterWorld but in our new neighborhood we have a water park so its ok. I never really stop getting excited, it just builds and builds until I am there-which is my ULTIMATE happiness.

My sister and I like to help my parents plan our trip. This helps us get more excited about it! I hope you have a great trip. I am sure your kids will have a great time! :D
