Chionodoxa-Sometimes referred to as "Glory of the Snow" They are a mid-spring flowering bulb. They have a light to dark luminous blue star-like flower. They look their best when grown in rock gardens. You can naturalize them in short grass under trees or as a border for shrubs or flower gardens.
Tiny bulbs planted 4 inches deep. They are best when grouped 5-7 bulbs. They like light rich soil and sun or semi-shade. Chionodoxa grow 8-12 inches hight.
